It's almost upon us again, that time of year when so many of us are full of far more stress than we are full of joy and happiness and peace.
Here's to everyone having a peaceful and joyous Christmas, one day when no matter how many relatives will be descending on you, or how many relatives you need to visit, you are blessed with being able to deal with the "descent" happily and peacefully.
And for those who will be spending Christmas alone, may the time be filled with good and wise reflections and hopes that will serve you well in the coming New Year.
God bless all and a very Merry Christmas to everyone.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! May all your dreams of happiness and success come true in 2012.
An absolutely perfect thought, Queenie. Thank you.
I thought I'd posted a reply to you here, but I can't find one, so I guess not. I'm sure I posted one somewhere else, but that was a different topic. I think.
In any event, I hope your New Year is absolutely marvelous. And how wonderful not to have your car snowed in at the bottom of the hill this year.
So far, most of us across the country have been lucky this winter. Here in Pike County. PA, we had a bit of a bluster of snow around Halloween, and no snow since. That means, since December is almost gone, that we have only 3 months of winter to get through before Spring starts forcing it's way into our lives.
I hope Spring forces its way into your life very early in the season indeed.
Best, Pat Or, as some may still think of me, "Molly Munch."

I don't recall meeting up with you before. Pardon me if this is too belated to be meaningful: Welcome to the blogs.
I see by your profile that we are at opposite ends of the political spectrum. No matter. I hope your Christmas Day was lovely and I wish you a fine, fine New Year indeed.
Oh, and I don't like beets very much either. Far too blood-red. They stain everything they touch. And they don't taste very good either. But beet tops I find are quite delicious. Just BTW.

Hello, John. Nice to see you around here. I think we all get to a point where we're hit or miss on MM. Doesn't matter. We could go away for 6 months at a time, as many have, and then come back to find old friends glad to see us. It's always nice to see an old blogger pal joining in.
A very Happy New Year to you, John - and everyone else.

oh man ,,,the old days used to be SO stressful. I just got fed up wiht the entire fiasco and fakery that I stopped celebrating Christmas at all.
When I let, other people know, the backlash was surprizingly strong. I stuck to my principles and didnt go back to the old ways.
I did spend time with my child and the important people in my life. My daughter was stilll rather young so I did give her gifts. But I do that whenever I want to anyway,,not just for specail occassions. SHES my only baby, after all.
This year we are doing a small gift exchange and having dinner, then to the movies. NOt a facny feast,,,but a comfortable delicous easy to prepare roast chicken along with our other favs.Little expense and more time to enjoy each others company.
Me, im happy with blackberry ppppppie !
Many good wishes back to you PAT.
