I saw another profile today where a woman is looking for her Romeo..   and then there were 3 Barbies who I suppose are looking for their Ken..   Well..  historically speaking Romeo was a pasty white, pimple faced, bad teeth, worse breath and terrible BO, suicidal, British teenager.  He also was probably quite short.  Juliet was actually probably too old because most were married off to older rich men by the time they were 15 and if you really want to know in Shakespeare's play Juliet was played by a young boy.

As for Barbie..  She is not anatomically correct.. and Ken is only good for going shopping with because he isnt endowed with anythng but his smile.  Thats why there is no "Mommy Barbie" or baby Barbken. I won't even go into how if you blow Barbie up to the actual size of a 5' 5" woman she would have to carry her FFF's around in a wheel barrow or would have a broken back because she would have a 15 inch waist.

Lets just look for real people..   and say we are real people...   and keep the dolls and the Bard out of our descriptions and relationship wishes!

(tongue in cheek)

I once had 'Romeo fantasies' and though those have faded, it's the girl or the woman or both in me that still enjoys the idea of passionate love. What did Mick Jagger say, 'lose your dreams and you could lose your mind'. Love isn't perfect, no. Fantasies are, yes. If somehow realism and fantasy meet in the middle, it's a match made in heaven (whoops, there I go fantasizing again...)

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!! Too funny!! Okay then.. I am wearing what I find to be "appropriate dish washing attire" while trying to capture a man's attention... (that way he knows to take me to dinner from now on.. LOL) What's this? Is "OLDER "elf Barbie" laying down on the job??? Looks like somebody might need a spankin! Hey.. is all that really true about Romeo and stuff?? YIKES! That's worse than Barbie w/ a 15" waist! HAVE A GREAT DAY ALL... *Elf Princess leaves shaking her head saying.. Jeez.. I hope someone gets my humor!!

many have stopped and commented here or caught me in chat or even sent me emails about this entry..  all i am saying is.. women have Romeo fantasies .. men have fantasies too ..  ala Barbie..   but we do need to be realistic about who we are and who our partner is..   then be soooo romantic with them.. as they really are..   peace

OH Jeez SMAX!! Don't put your sword away! Come on into my world... We'll just step over the dead horse!! I was a server at the Yacht Club many moons ago and the old school, old time, crazy bartender once told me... "There are no knights.. The armor is rusted and the horse is dead!" LOL... That's okay.. PAT/SMAX... I;m just gonna stay the "Prolific Princess", as our beautiful Princess DIANA3316 stated, of the MM blogs and roll in my "fantasy land." Because at the end of the day.. You probably will never find anyone who is more "REAL" with her heart on her sleeve than me... Perhaps that's why I choose to "escape" into my romantic fantasy... And yes SMAX.. "Romance" takes on different meanings for everyone.. Now tell me.. What is romantic to you as a man? HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY EVERYONE!! ;) da Princess is riding off in the sunset! Okay.. I'm lying.. I'm going to go do the dishes! Bwahahahaha!!

Quoting Conyersguy:

Smax,

Well, I'm not a boob guy, and Barbie's butt is a little cold, hard and flat for my taste.   So how about Keira Knightly, but I want her to have the wisdom of the Queen Mother, the kindness of Mother Theresa and the libido of Samantha, too.

And unfortunately, I need her to have the eyesight of Mr. Magoo.

Now, THAT's not being unrealistic, is it????  :):)

Conyersguy    .. that Keira Queen Mother Teresa Samantha who is blind wiill be very popular.  Many of us are looking for her!

Of God I forgot Princesses and white knights!!!  Well I will put my sword (keyboard) away and not get into that topic!!  I am a romantic..  just don't want to live someone elses definition of romantic..   be my (and your) own person.  My horse passed away a few years ago..  I would get another one if I meet the right woman who also wants one.

at the end of the day   I did say "tongue in cheek"   its supposed to be a funny light hearted entry!

Two thumbs up, Smax. Unfortunately, Reality doesn't seem to be the world in which most on-line daters like to live in. Sigh...
