I had been engrossed in the movie “SEX and the CITY” and witnessed Samantha feed Carrie after her humiliating ordeal with “BIG” dumping her before their wedding ceremony. It was almost as if I was transformed into that very scene and could have been on either side of the spoon. My eyes filled with tears feeling Carries’ heart wrenching pain and Samantha’s undying love for her friend. At the precise moment after viewing this, I received an email from one of my GF on this site telling me what has been transpiring in her life. MANY BLESSINGS ARE HEADED HER WAY, but only AFTER enduring many years in an unfulfilled and abusive relationship! Tears filled my eyes once more as I read her words of new found happiness. I am delighted for her to be “moving up” in LOVE after her downward battle in pain! There is always HOPE around the corner, we just have to keep the FAITH during our struggles. This is where “TRUE BONDING” between our “sisters” comes so abundantly crystal clear of how much resolve in ourselves we pull from one anothers' strength.

It has become apparent many people read my words; especially the ladies I somehow “touch”, unknowingly! This week I was blessed with introduction to 3 women I had never met and who have never even posted on one of my blogs. Each wrote privately to express their views on how I have somehow touched their hearts by doing what I enjoy and what comes naturally for me; to place my thoughts on paper. I feel extremely blessed to be.. just “little ole me!” God gave me a heart that feels w/ such intensity it is difficult for me not to express my “emotions.” My expressions tend to come out with passion, zest and fervor; therefore I am further graced sometimes leaving others with some sort of footprint. I have been this way since I was a little girl. I have heard these confirmations my entire life.

So I felt I would share some thoughts on our “SISTER-HOOD”… the deeply felt connection when two strange women can see one another from across a crowded room and know what the other is thinking. The unspoken motherly bond we connect w/ when we see a frustrated mother w/ whiny children at the store, and we smile at them, pat their back and encouragingly say, “You are doing a fine job. You should have seen my little Mikey! Boy was he a pistol!” And the frazzled mother exchanges a smile as you see her eyes starting to tear. You never truly know if she was at her final breaking point, or if you just touched her heart that immensely. Perhaps it was a little of both. If you have never been blessed with this type bonding with a strange woman ladies, I pray one day you do. And should your life not be filled with girl friends that are there for you regardless of the circumstances, I pray one day you will.

THERE IS AN UNSPOKEN RULE BETWEEN WOMEN WHO TRULY BOND AND CONNECT. It’s called being an UNCONDITIONAL FRIEND. Regardless of whether you agree with one anothers' choices and decisions, an UNCONDITIONAL FRIEND NEVER leaves your side. The connection TRUE BFF’s share is simply UNBREAKABLE. There is no CONDEMNATION, JUDGMENT or the throwing of stones when one falters. And there is ALWAYS a soft place to land when the earth shatters and it feels as if the world is caving in on us.

I watch as Carrie rushes to Miranda’s new home after she left Steve for cheating on her. It is a New Year’s Eve which would otherwise have been spent alone by both parties. The two friends chose to be lonely, “together.” I recall countless hours stroking several girlfriends’ heads after a bad break up, and having several cradle me after somehow my world had collapsed around me. It’s an unwritten rule. We do not leave our own kind when wounded.

So for any of you ladies watching and wondering, I THANK YOU as well for being who you are. I see you cruise my page and read my blogs and I too, gather strength from you! Many times we gather strength from the simplest things in life. And some of those simplest things in life are merely simple people like me, with nothing other than our heart hanging on our sleeve for everyone’s view. True, some may poke, some may judge, others may condemn. But the women who hold “TRUE SPIRIT” inside themselves can always find at least one piece of beauty when a masterpiece shatters.

Just remember 3 things as we walk past one another:

BEAUTY EMBRACES- WRAPPING ITSELF AROUND OTHER BEAUTY,

POSITIVE RESPONSES REFLECT POSITIVE REACTIONS,

AND THE POWER OF LOVE BREEDS FORTH MORE LOVE.

When we walk with LOVE in our hearts, we will be amazed by the “BEAUTY” that surrounds us! THANK YOU to ALL the “beautiful women” who have written me and who just follow me to follow. I am blessed and encouraged to be surrounded by “your beauty!”

With all sincerity,
Hope

Awww... HI Miss CLASSY~~

And THANK YOU.. ;)

WOW! It's been so long since I've written a blog...

CLASSY... When you contacted me and encouraged me to press on with school, you really touched me.. It reminded me of "The Sister-Hood." Over the years, I have been blessed to meet several women off the internet in person. I've met a couple of women and a man from this site in fact and love the bond I have shared with them, even if it only be for a brief moment.

I recall one day when I was very young... 25 to be exact.. with a temper tantrum 2 year old in the grocery store WHINING HIS LITTLE AZZ OFF AND EMBARRASSING ME TO NO END!!! I tell you I wanted to curl up and die that day! LOLOL...

But I have a stubborn streak in me.. (SHOCKER!!) and my children have always known.. if mom says something.. SHE MEANS IT!

That boy of mine could have been Lucifers son that day as far as I was concerned! (Who would have thought 30 lbs could be so ANNOYING!! He was my first born... WHAT DID I KNOW!! We get smarter after that! LOL)

I took that bratty, screaming child of mine and I pulled him over to the side of the isle in Publix and got straight down to his level and told him.. "You know what young man.. If you want to pitch a fit.. FINE! Scream all you want! You WON'T get your way just because I am embarrassed and want to leave!"

CLASSY, I tell you what. I plopped that little rump to the ground for him to sit in time out and I stood there embarrassed to no end.. wanting to strangle him.. or shoot myself! LOL..

Well, this elderly lady, who SURELY sensed my frustration, walks over and touches my arm and says.. "Young lady.. You don't see too many young mothers who stick to their guns and discipline their children the way you just have. You keep it up and that boy will grow to be a wonderful young man.. You did the right thing!"

THAT'S WHAT I MEAN BY STRANGERS TOUCHING OUR LIVES... I was embarrassed, frustrated, a young and unsure, inexperienced mother... and a lovely older woman touched my arm.. and then she touched my heart..

My son managed to calm himself after 10 minutes or so... And I shopped the remainder of the day with a sense of pride, despite my embarrassment.. WHY? Because one little old lady felt compelled to show some "Sister-Hood!" :)

Oops! I see I missed CHANEL's comment long ago... Hope that wonderful woman is doing well! If you ever see this CHANEL.. Hope all is well and the family is doing GREAT!

SISTA!! LOL Oprah and Gayle may be gay??? Hmmmm.... LOL I don't know if men are envious of women's bonding... I think they don't "understand" it though... I think for men, there "bonding" comes in forms of sports and things of that nature. I think the closest they truly bond "emotionally" may be complaining about their women issues.. LOL (One of which I am sure is .. "How can they be like that? It's like they are glued at the hip w/ their BFF!") haha For me.. I gather momentary "connections" with strangers as well.. Just special moments when unknown women have touched my life, or I theirs.. I think it is due to having more communication between women/women than men do w/ each other... Women CRAVE "emotional bonding".. I'm not saying men don't... but I don't feel it is of the same magnitude as a woman... I just can't imagine there are many men who walk up to another man crying in the store to give a hug or a kind word.... LOL.. Of course how many men cry in public?? However, in their defense... men will comfort a strange woman they see in pain... I've been richly blessed with some kind men in my life as well... Some strangers, others genuine people in my life for a time... ;) GOOD TO SEE YA GF!! Now put your stiletto boots on.. PAT says you and I could take on the world together.. I'm thinkin.. Pres/Vice Pres.. I'll let you be the Prez.. cuz when we screw things up.. I always look for the man in charge to blame! Bwahhaha!!

Omg, yes! Sisterhood is a very beautiful bond. The unconditonal love and positive regard surpasses any issues or disagreements shared between them. True sisterhood means I can tell you when I disagree and you will still love me! And I will still love you. It is a bond that make some men envious. Lol. Maybe they have a right to feel envious. I don't know. However, I do believe that a sisterhood bond is different from the bond a woman has with her man or husband, because its a womanly "knowing" and nurturing and validation which is only shared within that friendship, I believe. Some ppl will understand the bond and assume the women are gay, like Oprah and Gayle. Lol. Well, I dont' know if they are or not, but its none of my business. I respect the love and camraderie and understand that this is something to which many men cannot relate. Sorry. Lol. It just is! :) Fabulously written, sis*star! It makes me think of my own special sisterhood bond I share with my BFF. (Best Friend Forever). My male friends swear she "wants" me. That's just their own little twisted minds coming into play. They wish. P'ahahahahaha! Nasty little horny critters. Wink Wink!

But I still get a free pass to the girls locker room! SHUCKS! Life has definitely thrown me some curve balls and I have certainly tossed my share of crappy boomerangs at myself! Not sure sometimes what this "little Princess" is thinking!! (BTW.. in case you haven't figured it out by now.. and I'm kinda guessing you have... SATIRE is a must in my vocabulary.. I however choose to shoot my own self in the foot more than anyone else!! In fact my favorite hiding spot is when I throw myself unda da bus! Bwahahhaha!! :) (But it's a pretty pink party bus!.. so it's all good!)

HI VOYAGER.... I DID work offshore for a few hitches and LOVED the water.. Was not overly fond of being cooped up in boat with several horny men however.. LOLOL I MISS THE WATER... and the dolphins riding along side the vessel and the PEACE I receive while offshore... Lets just say.. It didn't work out... Little Missy here has learned that sometimes it "appears" we lose when we do not compromise our values... But I know in the long run.. BETTER THINGS AWAIT ME! To answer your question.. Deckhand and cook on smaller vessels... I am STCW certified as well as having my rigging card, TWIC and SafeGulf... I did not care much for the whole "fire fighting" deal.. The mask and I are not of kindred spirits... LOL Not big on having things on my face... I also did not care for the helicopter improv of going down at sea... Let's just say.... the first time they flipped me over in that makeshift copter under water.. DA PRINCESS FLIPPED!! LOLOL... I def prefer to put on my stilettos and dress up in costumes... over trying to prove how TUFF I am....esp in a man's world.. AND OFFSHORE LIFE IS A MAN'S WORLD!! But I will say to everyone.. In water survival class... I WAS THE FIRST ONE TO "RIGHT THE RAFT!" Of course.. I also soaked the instructor twice on fire fighting... BUT IN MY DEFENSE!! That hose is heavy and so is that gear!!! LOLOL :)

MY LITTLE ARIZONA HEAT!! You are one of the women who inspired this blog little lady!! (I told you I would have to blog about how moved I was by the women who have written me!) I had 3 women pop up out of the blue and write me that week... and I have been so inspired by some women on here I have more personal relationships with via emailing as CHANEL and DIANA... YOU ALL have inspired me!! I don't care about someone's religious beliefs, politics, sex, age, race, etc... I BELIEVE WE ALL HAVE SOMETHING TO TEACH,, AND SOMETHING TO LEARN FROM ONE ANOTHER!! I only try to reflect this in my thoughts... Keeping an "OPEN HEART!" is important in life... Admittedly.. it is not always easily done... Face it.. Not everyone is EASY TO LOVE... (I know you know whom I refer to) ... Finding the balance can be difficult... PULL TOWARDS YOUR "SISTERS" THAT ACCEPT YOU, LOVE YOU AND WANT YOU IN THEIR LIVES... UNCONDITIONALLY.... NOW ~~CG~~... YOU? Tryn to be dumb?? Bwhahahahaha!! ;) NOW TELL ME GENTLEMEN.. DO YOU GUYS EVER BOND WITH STRANGERS OR SHARE BONDS WITH OTHER MEN LIKE WOMEN SHARE WITH OTHER WOMEN??

Da princess walks in shyly.. again.. and blushes.. LMSAO!! Your mom allowed you to have her "great health" rubbed in your face.. Bwahahahaha!! TOO FUNNY! I can not believe she still works... I took care of a 93 year old lady at the ALF.. and she did crossword puzzles... She told me.. "I do these DAILY.. cuz if you don't use it.. you lose it!" She was quite a special lady. Had her sheets changed every Friday and if she wasn't dressed when you came to walk her down to go to breakfast.. you knew she was having a bad day! :( Glad you heard me calling you!! BUT I STILL THINK CG IS FOOLING ALL OF US!! ;) And listen.. the feeling is mutual.. I sense your warm spirit and a kind, sensitive (for a man.. LOL) and protective nature in you.. I was told by a man long ago... "You are just the kind of woman a man meets and WANTS to protect and take care of." To be honest with you.. I never understood that statement.. but I feel that nature with you.. I think there are some men who may see past the "fiery, feisty I can be a tuff girl attitude" and see the little girl behind the big mouth! LOL I think you are awesome as well! :)

Hoping Your words always warms my heart. Mom lives in Alabama, where she works for the local school district. I had the opportunity to go with her for a doctor's visit. She signed a release allowing me to hear for myself about her great health. Her doctor said she can work as long as she wants. She says it keeps her active, here I have trouble just getting out of bed in the morning, go figure, huh. I felt you calling my name. I have to say, I think CG is the real deal, I could be wrong, Lord knows, I'm easily fooled. Hoping, I do hope all is well with you. I had to smile when I read what your daughter told, I said to myself, I know where she gets her wit, and intellect, I don't have to tell you what the say about apples not falling far from the tree. You are truly blessed. You know I have much love for you. If you look up charisma in the dictionary, you'll see your picture. You DO make me wanna be a better man. May God bless you and yours.

is LMSAO @ my buddy MACHEVILLI!! Not shmart enough to know better huh??? I think CG is just foolin us to thinking he is smart! Now where the heck have you been.. Haven't you heard me calling for you for days now!! :) Your mother still works.. at 90!! WOW! That is incredible!! (and impressive!) Now where is your mom? Does she live alone? Surely not? I worked in an ALF in Florida and loved assisting the elderly.. Boy the stories some of them could tell!! I find it insightful to "hang" with "old people!" LOL... They have so much experience behind their belt.. and it is true.. it appears almost as if they warrant entitlement to say and do as they please with no regard for others.. Just a matter of fact responses n what life was like in the olden days.. I LoVE IT!! As always.. THANK YOU for reading my heart and being my #1 FAN!! :)

THAT RIGHT ~~CG~~ "CHICK BLOG!!" .... LIV... That is so awesomely sweet of you to say... *Princess blushes shyly... and says.. Thanks! I feel in my heart ladies... we each have specific "gifts" granted to us by God and when we utilize our gifts, we, as well as others prosper from it... My only regret was never having enough "confidence" to share my thoughts or to "Speak Now..." in younger years... Amazingly, as the boobs sag, eyelids droop, grey comes in like "highlights", and gravity his slowly taking over my so called body.. LOL.. NOW is the time I have more confidence than I ever have in all respects of life! GO FIGURE! WHY COULDN'T I HAVE BEEN THIS ME 25 YEARS AGO WHEN NOTING DROOPED AND GREY WAS THE COLOR OF SOMEONE'S CAR.. NOT MY HAIR!! Bwahahaha!! :) I cried watching that scene LIV... and I teared up in JOY reading my GF words to me... I've never had any sisters... nor do I have a great relationship (or any relationship) with my mother... But I have been graced by the presence in my life of some truly wonderful women of all different personalities.... NO TWO ARE ALIKE!! I guess it truly is in some regard the same as just how different the "SEX" gals are... We kind of lift one another up at the right moments and endure each others struggles together... And I think why I recognize this so strongly is because most times.. I run away and choose to endure my hardships alone... Until my divorce 12 years ago.. when my life was so intensely corrupted.. I HAD to lean on a woman.. Her name is Karen.. and she stayed by my side day after day after day... She was like the fireman who ran INTO the burning building when others had judged me harshly and ran out leaving me to get scorched!! I had days I simply could NOT function.. GUILT had destroyed me that badly... I WAS A COMPLETE MESS!! Like wayyy more than I am now! Bwahahaha!! :) YO MISS SARAH... IS THERE ANYONE LIKE SAMANTHA JONES??? That woman even trips ME out! Remember when Carrie walked in on her and the delivery guy!! And then Samantha walked in on the gay guys?? LOLOL.. Man do I LoVe my SEX show! heeheehee~~ HAVE A GREAT DAY ALL...

Hoping In spite of CG's warning I decided to enter the room. As you already know I one of your biggest fans. I'm ALWAYS interested in reading your words of wisdom, you are one of a kind. I've just returned from visiting the greatest woman I have ever known, my Mother. Over ninety years young she is and still working. I just wanted to stop by and say your words not only touch the ladies here, your words have been a source of comfort and support for me as well. You are a woman who speaks from her heart and I am happy to call you my friend. Keep up the good work On a side note I find it interesting that both CG and I, would dare to boldly go where no man has gone before. Of course for him, it's his intellect, knowledge, wit and humor, for me I'm just not smart enough to know better.

I think I'm a mix between Carrie and Charlotte. Definitely not as wild as Samantha.lol Would love to borrow her confidence though haha. My friends are probably mostly like Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda. No Samantha's lol. Sarah :-)

HI MISS SARAH!! My daughters and I are huge fans as well... It is awesome when we are encompassed and embraced by true lady friends is it not!! I look at my GF as I look at preachers/pastors.. When I need "encouragement" and a "positive attitude"... I turn on Joel Osteen.. he reminds me how beautifully and wonderfully made I am... I have GF that are more the encourager... When I need my butt chewed out... Well, there are harsher pastors and harsher GF!! LOL.. and yes ladies.. sometimes we warrant a chewing! haha Same goes for comforting etc... Oh! It's kinda like my shoes!! HaHa.. I can relate everything about back to my shoes... (the CARRIE in me? Writing, shoes, undying quest for RIDICULOUS, INCONVENIENT, CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU LOVE, smoking when i smoke, lol.. and did I mention my love of SHOES!!" SAMANTHA? I am a bit of a wild card... but can honestly say.. I've never closed the office door with a strange guy in it nor have I swayed both ways.. She is a bit over the top.. even for me... but I do have "commitment phoebes" MIRANDA? I am an analyzer and will DEBATE all sides to issues..it's my practicality.. which doesn't match me.. (enigma here) cuz I am soooo emotional when I write.. But in "real life" I am a shut downer... Miranda is self destructive... as am I...LOL CHARLOTTE... I am sooo the domesticated and nurturing type... Just never desired kids the way she did.. But I still have 3!! LOL.. Anybody want them! Bwahahahaha!! So Miss Sarah.. Who are you most like? And do you have friends that are like any of them? Of course Hollywood exaggerates people... Isn't it awesome to love your job and the women you are surrounded by!! :) GO GIRL POWER!! :)

Great blog!! Love sex and the city! Girl power! I am blessed with great friends. True friends who are there through the good times and bad. My best friend Nicola who I'd be lost without. We always have such a good laugh together. Taking her with me to see Sister Act the musical. :-) The girls I work with are also lovely ladies. No bitchiness or back stabbing everyone gets along so well and we always help each other out. Thats probably why we got an excellent rating in all areas from the care commission. Great team = success. Thanks for sharing! Sarah :-)
