Got your comment but as I've commented and sent wink can't for about another week yet. Would love to see New O again especially with someone who knows it so well. Where are you staying? At one of the haunted older hotels or on Bourbon St.? I stayed at the Chateau Sonesta 2 blocks from Bourbon St. then the Royal Sonesta right on Bourbon St.. I actually like the first place better. It was bigger in room size and I loved the courtyard off our room. Both places were first class all the way but I just liked the way the staff were, the room size and that it wasn't as busy as the hotels on Bourbon St. I'll see if a mutual friend has both our emails and maybe we can contact thru him? Seeing as neither of us are a full member anymore?

Will arrive after the Mardi Gras madness is over, but will enjoy the St Pats and St Josephs' celebrations, plus the tons of other activities that the Quarter offers.

Enjoy, be careful! I had my first MM date there with a gentleman for a week. I had a blast, he was slightly amused. Ended up more like brother and sister but oh well~ I got to see New Orleans before Katrina! Take the nightly ghost tour for sure and the daytime trip to the cemetery and voodoo church, was totally fascinating! There was lots more than the French Quarter I wanted to see but just didn't have the time. You will take it in and enjoy everything!
