THIS SUPPOSEDLY APPEARED IN "THE ATLANTA JOURNAL."

SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I'm a very good girl who LOVES to play. I love long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping and fishing trips, cozy winter nights lying by the fire. Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me... ask for Annie, I'll be waiting.....

Over 150 men found themselves talking to the Atlanta Humane Society.

What Bill didn't say was that he got there first. He named the dog Izabel. He wasn't really looking for a dog, but was ashamed to admit what he was there for and.... well you know what I am saying.

Thanks Pat and Summer. Izabel is a very pretty girl. Having been on death row when we adopted her; she since has been in about 40 states including AK. plus Canada and Mexico. We drove the Alaska Highway together...

I love the photo, Bill.  I blew it up and Izabel looks like she's giving your young man a stern talking to--which he, clearly, is not troubled by one bit.  LOL

As in "Don't splash me again." She picked us out at the Humane Society. At first she overpowered the Jaimster. Now they are both 7 years older and about equal. This pic is from the day we rescued her...

LOL, Timber and 5W's. They say that dogs resemble their owners; so what does that say for us. "Sit and Stay." Those words aren't even in Izabel's vocabulary. She would rather go eyeball to eyball with anyone or anything...

Quoting Timberoo:

Haha, that's funny!  The dog made you his biatch!  Just kiddin' 4w's!!  I had one mixed with shepard(lived 16 years!) and I would have to fight him to show him who's boss-SERIOUSLY!!!  YOU SPEAK THE TRUTH!  Thanks for the heads up...i just can't die bored! Lol...

My Malimute was also a escape artist. She would lift latches on gates, climb fences, ignore electric fence, etc. I bet I paid dog catcher fines of over $500. I even had to appear in court once because she was such a repeat offender. She was so big, about 115 lbs. that when she got out every neighbor called the police. Another funny thing was that she would eat anything, and I mean anything. Pecan shell and all , egg shells, anything.

Should I "resemble" that remark, Gar?  Just 'cause my hair is a lot thinner that your 4-legged friend's is?  Or is it that we gals on here don't SIT and STAY on command?

Hmmmm.

I've seen this before, Bill.  I'm not sure if it was in the "Atlanta Journal," but it is, for sure, a actual ad that appeared somewhere--and got the dog adopted into a good home.

Pretty darn funny, and clever.

Women are more of a challenge and come up with more surprises. Guess that's why they have more expensive tastes too.  Bill, ya got NY Giants Girl's phone?  A woman who loves football -- that's classy.

MIG

If she asked me to, I'd hug her teddy bear.

I had a Malimute for years. I think she must have been the most stubborn dog ever. She knew just what I wanted her to do but refused because she wanted to be the Alpha dog. We had our days.. lol She had a lot in common with my ex I guess. You might want to reconsider your choice of dog breed, you may get into more than you expected.

Ah, the power of great advertisement! That is exactly what members of an online dating club need (or do not need?) to learn.
