I got this in a email today. *************************** A mother asked this President..'Why did my son have to die in Iraq ?' A mother asked this President..Why did my son have to die in Saudi Arabia ?' A mother asked this President...'Why did my son have to die in Kuwait ?' Another mother asked this President..'Why did my son have to die in Vietnam ?' Another mother asked this President..'Why did my son have to die in Korea ?' Another mother asked this President..'Why did my son have to die on Iwo Jima ?' Another mother asked President..'Why did my son have to die on a battlefield in France ?' Yet another mother asked President..'Why did my son have to die at Gettysburg ?' And yet another mother asked President.. 'Why did my son have to die on a frozen field near Valley Forge ?' Then long, long ago, a mother asked.. ' why did my Son have to die on a cross outside of Jerusalem ?' The answer is always the same... 'So that others may live and dwell in peace, happiness, and freedom.' This was emailed to me with no author. If you are not willing to stand BEHIND our troops, please, please feel free to stand in front of them....

There is only one religion that meets that criteria.  In fact, I think they have committed approximately 19,000 terrorist attacks since 9/11, in a dozen, maybe two dozen, countries all over the world.

Now, what is your solution to the terrorists?   Just who would you talk peace to?   Please do note that they also fight each other.

The current problem is that we have a "religion" that directs it's followers to wage war, killing or subjicate anyone not of their faith..  What is your solution to that problem... a 1400 year old problem, responsible for more deaths than any tyrant or psychopath..  What we have is a "religon" that is psychopathic

@silverlion     Your arguement seems to be based upon a threat to "us"..  Do you not have any concern for threats (murder by the tens of millions)  to other people in the world?   Well, our country does and I do think it is good for all of humanity to prevent such.

No, freedom isn't free.

I just wish we could find another way to PAY for it....
