Per FNC,The FDA has ordered J&J to recall all Tylenol CHILDRENS Medicines due to the possibility of contamination. Any of you Moms with young children who are currently administering CHILDRENS Tylenol to your kids or have their products in your medicine chests should throw them out and replace them with other medications.

Actually the recall has now expanded to more than just CHILDRENS Tylenol. Everyone should go to the FDA website and compare what you have to what is being recalled. Shaz is quite correct. Dispose of the product safely but keep the bottle or container it came in for a refund or replacement.

I would add to take the meds back to the store FULL.

Why ?

because the pharmacy or the manufacturer have the correct facilities for proper disposal...which IS NOT the toilet, sink , or garbage.

They SHOULD give you your money back. Speak to the manager if the clerk wont.

Thanks Bill! This isn't the first time Tylenol Children's has been recalled.  I thought I remembered the same product recalled when my boys were small, so I looked it up.  Yeah, it was 1982, there was a cyanide sabotage.  Ok, not their fault, but I did learn that this is the 5th recall since October 2009!!  Not good for investors.

take them back to the store of purchase and get your money back ! Recalls  ARE set up to do that. You will not need a receipt.

Then buy some new products.

Good call, Bill.  I'll be sure all our people with kids in their lives know about this.
