REAL QUICK:  Anyone who is worried that your blog might disappear:  Save every page of your blog to WORD on your PC.  That way, if your blog does disappear,  you have it all at hand for reposting.

It will take a lot of work to put it back up.  But if it matters to you----there it will be.

Pat

P.S.:  I'm following my own advice with the NEW T & G's Limp Wrist blog.  Too many people are having TOO MUCH FUN on this blog for it to get lost into the BLOG BLACK HOLE again....

Is there an easy way to do that? Sounds like a lot of work. I'm not worried as it's entertainment... if it was more serious than that, I'd be more concerned... Good ideas though Pat!

Actually, very easy.  Once a day, go in to the blog you want to save, first time around you'll have probably 2 or 3 pages to save.  Just highlight them, hit copy, stick it in WORD, you're done.  [Good idea to create a new folder with the blog title on it.  That makes things a lot easier to follow]

Next day, same time, same station, go to the latest page, highlight it, click copy, then save it to the same file you created the day before.  Done.   Unless it's one of those blogs that gets about 40 posts a day, you probably won't have more than one page of blog posts to copy and paste into WORD on any given day.

In all cases, you might miss the ladst 4 or 5 posts when a blog goes missing, but, really, it doesn't take much time at all to do it once a day.  Less than 5 minutes.

The save, by the way, looks pretty ugly, --all that MM blog formatting to look through--but the words are all there....

Pat

lol Pat wish I had the time !!!!!!

And I [LOL] might wish I didn't have the time!!!!!!

Actually, it only takes a couple of minutes.  Once a day.  When I'm signing off.  So the newest posts might get lost.....  But the essence of the thing won't.  If it disappears from the blogs, all I have to do is email my copies of it to George and it will be back up.

I hope you're not having as much rain in London town as we're having here in PA, USA  right now....  Tell me, Tink, what the hell do you to protect your shoes from all the rain you guys get back there in the UK??????  I've tried to buy Wellingtons on line, but nobody, no site I've found, has rain boots in WIDE sizes.  Not the wide calf size---the wide FOOT size.  I'm a 7-1/2 or 8 American size in a WIDE due to my having what ballerina friends of mine used to call  "DANCER'S FEET."  Square toes, broad as hell at the base of the toes---then a narrow heel.  YIKES.....PLEASE DON'T TELL ME I NEED TO GO TO THE QUEEN'S CUSTOM BOOT MAKERS TO GET SUCH THINGS.....

Pat
