According to FOX people are now masquerading as U.S. service persons on internet dating sites and appealing to the victims patriotism in order to shake them down. Africa is is still the main culprit. There seems to be a new scam every day.

I read the same thing on yahoo News a few days ago. The SAME day a new guy from here wrote me saying HE was in the service etc. I turned him in asap. The cons have no conscious AT ALL. They are psychopathic liars and do not care who they hurt. We lovely kind hearted Americans are an easy mark, ,and most who are not online often will fall victims to such ploys.

Disheartening to say the least....  Let's hope Candee is right and we can all be "too quick on our feet" for these ba****ds.

Maybe we need a blog on which to list all the different types of cyber and reality scams any of us hear about.....  OMG--I'm afraid the list would get as long as Brittany's Scammers blog....

That's par for the course with MM, Sophia. Brittany thanked me for posting it so I don't think it was intentional. They lose stuff all the time here. It's just a blog so I don't really care. If these guys were my accountants I would have fired them long ago. Show them my financial records or verify anything with MM??? Yeah right..LMAO...

Hi BillZ,

Good warning to the members here---I have caught a few of these scammers posing as military personnel on here and they are posted on the scammer blog.

Thanks,

Britt
