Dekan. Hola! ... you are the person you want to show! And there will be thousands who see "the body" you occupy ... and thousands of others who see who you really are ... and that depends only on you ... There will always be younger woman that are jealous of smarter older woman...they just do ont know that 40 is the new 30. And if they best they have is to attack your size...well I guess I have made my point. Trust me if it were to be all about youth and looks...Tiger Woods would have stopped at 3 ho's just like Santa did....JK LOL Sweetie I know men who are filthy stinking rich and are that way because they have super great wives (very close to their own age) who got their back. I am proud to be a cougar and a MILF....but that is as far as I take it. I just can't see myself with some young guy when it comes to anything serious or meaningful...but those younger guys sure do know how to treat a woman right that is for sure. They are not one bit selfish, tainted and are always eager to please...oh and so trainable. :D And ask any guy who is a MILF or COUGAR chaser why he digs us over youth...the list of negatives for youth is very long. The main reason older men like youth is to feed their ego (low self esteem) whereas a young dude still has the X factor and his own looks give him al the confidence he needs. If you like being a Cougar...GO FO IT....beats dating some older guy that has to depend on the company of the comparable to a young professional escort.

im sitting in the home of a very nice older man...who married a much younger woman, had a child with her, and then she left him for a man her own age. He is now 68 with a 13 year old son. He just now assumed full custody and they are both lost. Problems of age ARE REAL. They need to be addressed and discussed and planned for. He is retired and wants a peaceful existence. His son is a kid and wants/needs to be a kid ! Its not a good thing. I think people are happiest long term with someone close to their own age. I DO like younger men but as I get older myself, Ide rather have life experiences in common with my mate than look at a pretty young face/body and wonder when they were going to leave me. blarg. oh well

I always thought it a compliment! Young men do say older women know what they want and aren't afraid to give instruction. *eg* And when they say they can go for hours I ask what's the point? I was under the impression that you wanted all the pleasure you could get. Thank you for the compliment bricraigpark. At least I think it was directed to me?

I wouldn't be that worried about the terminology.

Of course whether or not it's considered derogatory is subjective.

I think you look fabulous.

I'm not running a pre-school so I prefer an age appropriate woman.

In my experience the maturity is better all the way around.

Confidence comes from within. Age only matters if there is a problem. Love is blind and opinions are useless..what you want and care about is important. I have all ages approach me and I really only take the younger mens attention as a compliment and would prefer a person my age or older..I feel maturity and having something in common matters. Women are GREAT overall and men get tired of all of the drama regardless of the age...self-esteem is what it's all about. Read the book His Needs/Her Needs and it tells all.

To me it says you still look good, you carry yourself well, you can carry on an intelligent conversation. But in the same respect you're not afraid to sweat and mess up your hair and makeup. *LOL*

Thats my point !

So gentlemen please share! This has potential of being a lot of fun!

I really dont see what the big deal is with those terms. Its just like back in the old days when we had terms that were popular for the time,, how about words like "groovey" or "chick",,etc..

MILF, I look as some young'in just gave you a compliment. I wish there were young women who would call me sometihing like DILF,, LOL,, It doesnt mean you act on it, but to me its kinda flattering.

Cougar,, so what !  LOL

relax and consider the source.

I prefer to be a referred to as a mature woman....

I love everyones opinion! It's usually men using the phrase so directed to them. I may be called that but I don't act out the terminology. Sex is way to special to give it away. Thank you for the compliments. It means more coming from a woman! Sorry guys! *L* Men say it to get in your pants. *LOL*

I confess I had to look at your profile as well to see your age, and quite frankly I agree with Bold, you don't look your age. I have not been called either Cougar or MILF (at least not to my face....LOL), so I don't know what my reaction would be, probably somewhere around insulted.

I think that young women, and people in general in fact, should be careful what they say about others because Karma has a way of coming back and slapping you in the face, only 10 times worse. So take heart dear Dek, what goes around comes around!

I have been called a cougar because I date younger guys - guys in my age range and older have for the most part let themselves 'go' physically and mentally - I work hard to keep youthful and very very fit and I will always be that way - a guy will call himself 'hot' in his profile then you see the big belly, deep lines and wrinkles etc.  Even guys these days can use botox and juvederm !  But also it is an attitude - younger guys are more open to new things and less set in their ways - my perfect man would be 60 but REALLY looks 50 and still has that zest for life!  or a younger guy who was financially well off and did not have or want kids -
