Very interesting. I'm new here, and you'll get to know me-as love to write--blog--and comment on things goin' on. I have been on about 4/5 datelines--off and 0n the past ohhhhhhhhhh 3 yrs., now, and being "older", is good and it is bad sometimes. I've been asked to be the one whom has a boy toy--many times over-don't really know why--but, it sorta' turns me off. Although, would be fun--just for that reason--being fun. Never got into it--because looking for something different--and, not especially into playing games--except, with the right person, if u know what i mean? lol---Furthermore--if I may, I definately-can see us older women--being Cougar's--for these reason's: Older women-are more aggressive sexually--sometimes--if the man were with--helps to bring out--the "animal" in us, and that appeal's to men of course, (why wouldn't it), Right? Lots of times--when with a younger gentleman--age doesn't matter that much to me--it's the intelligence--and the Chivilarous attitude of the gentleman I'm with--that counts mostly--anyhow--as i was saying--when with a younger gentleman--they seem to cater to us women of older stature--because they are just sick of the head-games younger women play--and plz., I have listened to women on this one--and to many, many men in the past and more then not--the men tell me--older women just don't play games they know what/whom they want and go after them--plus, they tell it like they see it--don't "ask" sexual favor's but, get them--lol--and we do--lol---and are not afraid to raise some hell in the meantime--having fun, and enjoying ourselves along the way. I think things have changed , just like when younger women--went after the older men-the maturity of the older women is enjoyed--the non-shallentness--of the older women--when "he" looks at someone else--we aren't climbing the walls--we enjoy his afmiration--of women--which, seems rare--but at least "he" hasn't died sexually inside--and has the maturity to know--he's not offending us older women--because, we Know we're going home with him--and came in the door with "him". People, seem to think they "own" a man--when their going with them or married to them, i feel, honestly--from my heart God let's us "rent" our mates as long as we should have them--and that to me--is a blessing, so enjoy while you can. But, at the same time--respect whom ur with-no matter whom it is--enjoy their different sides of their personalities--and their demeanor's, and get to know them from the inside out--not, outside in, and we'll all be better off if we do this. So, being older--and hopefully wise--hopefully, I too have shed some light onto this subject--and am willing to talk to anyone about it--anytime, your willing to talk to me personally. Let's hope no matter what we're called--people respect us for whom-what we are--and enjoy our past stories of being whom/what we are and take the good and pass it on. God Bless us all, thankx for reading. Vic.

hi there, felt compelled to send my thoughts. im recently 43 and live in small town arkansas. i moved here almost 8 yrs ago and enrolled at asu at the age of 37, scared as hell. i didnt fit in, i was older than most but soooo different than students my age. eventually somehow i ended up hanging out between classes with younger group, boys of course, females dont usually give me a chance, but before i knew it, i was dating younnnggg guys and really not realizing how crazy it was. itg was what looked good.men in chgo took care of themselves and worked out.men here, my age wear camoflauge, swig beer, sport a gut and call you they're 'ol lady....so,i stuck with the 'pinks'...in my first yrs i never dated any older than 25...married him. didnt last of course. my opinion i think differs from most though. the so called cougars arent stalking their prey, their opening a whole new world to a verrry lucky young man who sometimes takes alot of training. i dont mean just in the bedroom. be prepared to be addressed as 'dude' for a while, cartoons blaring in the morning and lots of junkfood consumed while he maintains his washboard abs and that tight lil ass effortlessly. on the upside, they will cook, clean,do your pedicures, shave you..oh so carefully and enjoy brushing your hair.one thing i found inevitable is their lack of understanding of the importance of truth. on any level.they lie about anything. dont take it personally like i did. my aha moment came when i realized that when i was that age i lied all day as well. even about things i didnt have to lie about....its just youth.i'm ready for a man more age appropriate now. i'm retiring my teacher status and ready to enroll as student....best to all of you ladies....have fun...if your in my area, contact me.

Quoting billzeke:

TEXAS: In the future; please don't quote me by putting words in my mouth. The 1st paragraph below was me quoting Isabella3030's post of 12/27/09; hence the triple quotation marks.    Isabella I might add happens to be a woman. The 2nd paragraph is my response....

sorry bout that BILL, however next time please do not be so quick to falsely accuse thought the quote boxes were for quotes....was not aware of """_______""" meaning the same as a quote box. I actually thought you were simply attempting to make a quote of your own stand out by using triple quotes. hence in reality, I am NOT at all putting words in your mouth.....at best...I am guilty of not knowing that both quote boxes and """______""" indeed are one in the same. thanks for the 411 it is duly noted, settle down n relax, I seldom make the same mistake twice

I refer people to The Urban Dictionary (good for a laugh ladies) when asked this question, it's comical to see different viewpoints (some obviously written by younger women who don't know any better...LOL!!!)... "An older woman who frequents clubs in order to score with a much younger man. The cougar can be anyone from an overly surgically altered wind tunnel victim, to an absolute sad and bloated old horn-meister, to a real hottie or milf. Cougars are gaining in popularity -- particularly the true hotties -- as young men find not only a sexual high, but many times a chick with her s**t together." The only bracket I find myself in is a "chick with her s**t together" LOL

Hi Everyone! OK Dekan09, In response to your question, from the way I understand "Cougar", it is a new way to classify the dating scene. I was up in Seattle, Washington and British Columbia, Canada a while back, where I was informed this cougar thing originally started. From the way it was explained to me, a cougar identifies a certain female age group bracket. Young ladies are called a "Cub". Older ladies are called a "Cougar. and even older ladies are called "Sabertooths", lol. The gentlemen are called "Prey". While having dinner in Seattle, I was at Daniel's Broiler on Lake Washington sitting back watching the action. Daniel's Broiler is a trendy and common spot for the cougar scene I was informed, and it sure was from what I was observing, lol. FYI- Daniel's Broiler has some fantastic food if you ever visit the Seattle area! I would definately recommend the Ribeye "Bone-In" steak, it was not on the menu, but my waiter stated it was the best that they served. I have to state here it definately was, but bring a friend, there was enough for two to enjoy. Oh ya, make reservations for a window seat, and by the fireplace. Fanstastic view of the boats out on the lake, and warm and cozy while dining! BTW- You still look nice for your age lil lady, the years have treated you well :) Happy Hunting, lol.

Never have been interested in boy toys. A few years is OK, but more than 5 and I find that they simply do not have the life experience to be of interest to me.  Now, about my mother.  She has been married to a man 2 years older than me for 12 years now.  My mom the cougar....

Quoting YIMTexas78259:

less baggage???????....do you mean an old lion has a lot of baggage or are you referring to a cougar having baggage? heck at 40 a cougars our baggage is gone....at 40 a lion has baggage from a tigress cuz he added a few more to the pride. by 20 usually a tigress has 3 to 4 cubs from different mates. the tigress looks for the lion to provide her with a den and feed their cubs.....or someone to give them a cub........ I think the line a tigress rehearses is....oooops....I must have missed a day or I think the condom broke. and get this...that one night of slipping up that cost you for the next 18 yrs....the support you pay is generally enough for that tigress to moves in some smoking 23 yr old hottie with rock hard bas. he need not have a job, he need only look good....she takes care of him off of what you pony up in child support. surprised so many older men have not wised up after being on the face of the earth for such a long time cougars be proud we been here long as those older lions who seek the young tigress....we at least have wised up enough not to use poor judgment.

Opps, I see we have different views of what A tigress really is lmao

I was once A cougar in training "on the blogs"  does that count:-)?? I prefer men in my age bracket. The salt and pepper hair and laugh lines are rather sexy:-)No botox gentleman and PLEASE do not start wearing gloves on your hands when you go to bed to keep your hands looking younger. We like you just the way you are !! With age comes wisdom and experience. A woman is not born, she evolves . Her life experiences make her who she is today. As  A  mature woman I am A Tigress ;-)(with the right man) But then aren't we all??

Shaz I never thought you and I would agree with anything the other said. But I agree 100% with you. I went to high school with a girl whose parents were in their early 60's when she graduated. It had to be tough for a girl but I can't imagine what it would be like to have a son at that age.

As long as we don't talk politics I think we'll be okay. *L*

....and ... the age, maturity and experience, you can not improvise without ever having lived long enough ... the age is disguised... experience is gained with experience ... maturity is exercised ... and someone will notice what state we are ....
