DITTO, BUDDY.  Eastern love and well-wishes to your Western shores...

Moldy, I keep trying to change this from "Western" shores to southern, or Floridian.  The only thing the system will let me change is what I quoted from your post!!!!

Sorry...

Merry Christmas to you as well. May you have a Blessed and Safe New Year.

Thank you, neighbor.  I see from your profile that compared to the physical distances between most of us blogging and posting regularly, you and I are practically a stone's throw away from each other.  That's kinda cool....

Great "pups."  They look like they're still waiting for more treats.  By now I suspect they are trained:  "Oh, goody.  We look at camera and she gives us a cookie.  Humans are soooo easy to control."

Pat, my friend, I hope that's your house! If not I hope you get one just like it!.....Merry Christmas!

Oh, sweetie, not my house.  The house in the photo was the first house on Charley;s, and my, driveway.  Close to the road.  Not much to look at usually, but when the snow fell...a stunner.  Odd thing was that it was/is owned by some woman who lives in Fla. somewhere.  In all the years I lived up the driveway from that house, she, the owner, never appeared.   It looks good in the photo--but it is, for all intents and purposes, an abandoned house.  Summer comes...a neightbor mows all the grass../winter comes...nothing to do to except take photos.   We saw bears pass through the yard; bears, coyotes, mountain lions, foxes--even wolves, although PA offificals will tell you we have no wolves here....but no human life has been in that house for at least 6 years....

More's the pity.  It's a gem of a "cottage," at least from the outside.  I became obsessed with photographing it when the snow was high...  Glad you  like it...but, sadly, it is not mine.... Charley always said he wanted to buy it for me----but that was when Alzheimer's had taken his mind and he thought that if I had $250 a month income, I could easily maintain it--and still have plenty to eat on.  He was stuck, then in 1951.
