No Im not SORRY.. You should be sorry that you allowed the Bush Family to stay in office for so many years. The U.S isnt in this mess because of Obama. Its from your mess ups from the other Presidents. Really idot he havnt been in office a year yet, do you really belive that he had time to mess up anything yet. Obama is the clean up man. It will take more then 4 years to complete this job.

Oh I know that! Bush, as I previously stated, got all kinds of balls rolling. Democrats have been waiting forever to gain control of Congress to do all their wacky left wing BS. Hopefully with them being in control for this short period of time will guarantee it will never happen again. Not that Republican are all that, but I don't think their views are nearly as radical. Just my humble opinion once again.

Yesterday I was outraged at the vote on the Senate floor. I think what those people did was an act of terrorism on the farmers of California. 61-36, all Dems and Snowe, voted not to turn on the water so farmers and workers could get back to do their business. Why Snowe didn't leave when Specter did I don't know. Hannity named it well when he called it "The Valley Hope Forgot". A freaking Delta Smelt takes precedence over people? No one in their right mind not even those who voted for Obama, can find the logic of that vote! I thought the government was suppose to be looking out for the welfare of the American people? Isn't that what Progressives want? Government to take care of you cradle to grave? Well I for one want government out of life. It's all about taking control. They want us to be beholding to them for every aspect of our day to day life. We're too stupid to know what is best for us and our families. It's not like we weren't warned. He told us he was five days away from fundementally changing America. That was one campaign promise he kept. And remember when Michelle said this? Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed. It's becoming more and more clear why the president needs his "civilian national security force". The American people like their freedom. What president says that the Constitution is a "charter of negative liberties". I'll let you fill in the blank.

They're all politicians and mostly lawyers so they have their own self serving interests. Greed and graft is the lubricant of our political system. The best we can hope for is Washington gridlock. The housing bubble broke on Bush's watch but the subprime crisis and the Ninja loans happened mostly on Clinton's watch. His HUD secretary Cuomo exacerbated the situation by strongly encouraging Ginny and Freddy to make loans to uncredit worthy minorities. He also threatened private lenders with discrimination lawsuits if they didn't follow suit. If you think politicians from either party are the solution Heaven help you

And the only people in the world who think the US is a terrorist is the terrorist or those who support them. Of course they would think that. Don't be so gullible.

I disagree with several comments posted here. People ignore the fact that a democratic controlled congress was in charge of passing or not passing the laws during the Bush administration. Congress was the cause of the financial meltdown, not Bush. For instance look at the regulatory law McCain tried to get passed but congress shot it down. Congress was to blame for most of the mess, not Bush. Presidents do not pass laws, that's a fact.

You're right Bush did mess up! When he left he wasn't the man who first came into office. He got everything started as far as the bailouts, big government and several other things. Hell he was sounding like a liberal or as you folks like to be called..Progressives. But when are you going to stop blaming Bush for everything? When are those who voted for Obama going to hold his feet to the fire as far as all his campaign promises? He had to sound like a moderate to get elected. His true colors are coming out now with all his crazy radical czars. Those people have lost their damn minds! You may not be sorry now.. but its a comin.

I can give you NINE TRILLION reasons why I am glad I did not vote for him. Personally I would like to see Obama and the 500 plus members of Congress dragged out of Washington by their ears....

NO I AM NOT SORRY I voted for him. Change is never easy and no one is going to be be 100% happy with anything, no matter what it is. There has been a solid improvement in many areas of american life already . Just ask the american car makers or people who did not loose their life savings when banks went under. How about all the people who DIDNT loose their houses because of his new policies ??? Lets NOT forget who was responsible for the policies and oversites that allowed these hidieous situations to exist in the first place...the Bush Administration. We are a huge nation and comprized of many types and sorts of people. All with their own agendas, wants and needs. To find ANY workable solution is close to impossible just because of that. No one can predict the entire scope of consequences of ANY major change. but the intent is to help the most amount of people and encourage business while lowering out of control costs for essential services. Medicine shoul d never be available to only the elite or rich, That IS barabaric and cruel...and as one who has suffered wihout adequate care, I WANT health care reform. The need of the masses outweigh the interests of the few. In this case, the medical profession and insurance companies are holding 350 million people hostage to an overly expensive system that makes no sense. I do not expect perfection from our President..He is a human being, not a Divine entity. there will be mis-steps and some things that dont work out too well. the one thing I do know for sure is that our last president ran this country into the ground and caused America to be viewed as terrorists by much of the rest of the world. History will brand him as one of the worst presidents ever. If nothing else, I am proud of Presidnet Obama for coming out of the blocks with solid plans and actions, strong and bold. I doubt any of us could even begin to understand the complexities involved and I know none of us here could do any better.
