A man was called in for an audit by the IRS so he asked his accountant for advice on what to wear. "Wear your worst clothing and an old pair of shoes. Let them think you are a pauper," the accountant replied. He then asked his lawyer the same question, but got the opposite advice: "Don't let them intimidate you. Wear your best suit and an expensive tie." Confused, the man went to his Minister who would surely know the correct answer. He told him of the conflicting advice he had received, and asked what he should do. "Let me tell you a story," replied the Minister. "A woman, about to be married, asked her mother what to wear on her wedding night. Her mother advised, "Wear a heavy, long, flannel nightgown that goes right up to your neck and wool socks. " But when the woman asked her best friend, she got conflicting advice: "Wear your sexiest negligee, with a V-neck right down to your navel." The man did not understand. "But, Minister, what does all this have to do with my problem with the IRS?" "It doesn't matter what you wear," replied the Minister, "You're going to get screwed".

Quoting leonicvirgo: Bet Tinks assets exceed her deductions. Wonder if her AMOURterization schedule spreads her leverage bond continuity. Is there sufficient liquidity for persistant downward drives created by unforseen events? Can she position herself to optimize tsunamic outcomes? Men dare pray for strength with the revealing display of her portfolio. LV1 original

i've been audited and wore biz casual...they were not impressed. However, when they showed up to do "the" inventory on "worldly possesions", a baseball cap, jeans and cute tshirt worked...oh and lots of smiles and glistening eyes. years later when the closure finally happened...the compromise was to my benefit. for what it is worth, one of the most humbling and interesting time frames of my life. e.a

I use to be audited every year because of business deductions, and then I decided to sue IRS (twice)for their harassing and shotgunning behavior. They got the message and I now have not been audited in 30 years. IRS has cleaned up their act since the Taxpayer Bill of Rights was enacted, but they use to be horrible.

Actually I have been audited. My last encounter was the best. I didn't ask my acct. or my attorney anything. Just represented myself and wore a pair of jeans. I ended up owing them nothing. The IRS lady was kind of cute too, but I didn't dare go there....lol.
