We need to show more sympathy for these people. * They travel miles in the heat. * They risk their lives crossing a border. * They don't get paid enough wages. * They do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do. * They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language. * They rarely see their families and they face adversity all day every day.. I'm not talking about illegal Mexicans, I'm talking about our troops! Doesn't it seem strange that many Democrats and Republicans are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegal's, but don't support our troops and are now threatening to cut funding for them?

I've heard this nonsense that illegals fill jobs that American's won't do. On the news July 2nd, some packing plant was forced to get rid of all it's illegal workers or face penalties due to some new state law. They put ads in the papers to hire people to fill all these jobs and there was a line around the block of legal American citizens applying for work.

As Tink has said, it's happening over here too. The voices of the people are being ignored. Governments. They listen but they don't hear, look but they don't see. Then they can't understand why resentment creeps in, takes hold and erupts.

Bill: I support the troops and whatever it takes to bring them back safely and with good war diplomacy. I am for funding as needed and less wasteful spending on other frills, like limos for senators and congressmen, and much more. _Honey

Bill, All I can say here is: I feel very sorry for them, really do; I am glad my country does not have to face THIS problem (we have too many already). Hugs, lisi
