Tell me- what is on your list of things you want to accomplish before you die? The sights you want to see? The things (or people) you want to do? I'm having a brainstorm here and I need your input!

Not so much something that I want to do. More something I need to accomplish. To feel that the things I've done and the people I've met have benefited from my presence. To feel contentment. To leave this existence on it's way to being a better place than it seems to be now. To do what I must do, not always what I want to do.

Hi Shaz, well you have something for the journal. :) Now with my 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation, Yellowstone is on my agenda. The footage I've seen of it has made it a must to visit. When is the best time to go?

Ahh Whisper,,he did ask me to come to his home for the night. And he did it in such a way that was very endearing and not at all lewd. I really liked him and yes we had a few really nice passionate kisses outside by ourselves. I was with my college class in Tasmania and we had an early morning excursion & all day hike to Maria Island the next day. OR I might have gone. I noticed you wanted to visit YellowStone National Park. Ihave been there a few times and its a fantastic place. Its very accessable as well, the best geo-thermal spots are easy to get to. They have some wonderful camping style accomadations, as well as Grand and Stately Lodges to stay in. I hope you get to visit there. I loved it !

Re: shazbot82 write: And WhisperO...dear, if you say come visit..SOME of us WILL! I met a lovely south african man this past new years eve...in all places,,,,Tribunna, Tasmania, Australia ! Gawd he was adoreable and hansome...and so very sweet in a shy but manly way. We shared a pretty FINE midnight kiss. I could hardly understand him with his accent,,,but his voice just melted me anyway.

Hey Shaz, you are welcome. I live just 200 m away from one of the wine farms and also live about 20 mins drive from the beach. I want to meet some of the people here. With my new job and 2 weeks off, I am able to travel and have people around for vacation. That is great. I also want to do a trip to New York. If he is Capetonian, you got a good guy. :) Only a midnight kiss and no further contact? :):) Do tell. Peri, if you can make it you are welcome.

WO, thanks for the invitation!!! A while ago a good friend of mine from Germany lived and worked in South Africa on a contract for a couple of years. She kept inviting me all the time, but my kids were little back then (a 3 year old and a newborn) that I had to pass... I do regret missing a wonderful opportunity to see such an exotic part of the world... some day maybe!

People to do? Hmmmmmm, I'll take two Brad Pitts, one Johnny Depp and a side of Orlando Bloom... And oh yeah, biggie size that will ya? Now seriously, as for places to visit - South America, Australia, South Africa, the list goes on. Things to do: I would like to help my kids succeed in life, that would easily take another 50 years for sure ;o)

Welcome back! Gosh my list... hmmm. Learn to drive and pass first time, Get a psychology related job, Get a doctorate in counselling psychology, Be a counselling psychologist, Travel to as many countries as I possibly can, Do a skydive, Buy a house, Buy a lotus elise, Marry mr right, Have 2 or 3 kids, Adopt a child, Open my own counselling psychology clinic, Learn to salsa dance, Do some charity work, When I'm old I'd love to open like a wild life rescue place or something like that- maybe thats a dream more than reality. Although it all depends on me. Just as I have finished typing I have opened a letter for a health care assistant job which involves helping people with eating disorders. They have asked me for an interview. I'm like finally a chance. I just hope I'm lucky enough. sarah :-)

my daughter gave me the book "1000 Places You Need To Go Before You Die" Ive been ticking them off for a few years now. I'de like to go to Peru, Argentina, Costa Rica, Belize, Patagonia, Lake Bakail in Siberia, Mongolia. Ide like to have a show of my artwork in one of the better gallerys in the SF area. I want to start singing publically again,,with a really really good band, no big aspirations other than the joy of performing. Would love to Dive in Hawaii, Hondurus, and a few more places in the South China Sea...I have a love of sea turtles,,might get involved in a conservation effort of some sort. Would like to learn more about Green Building and Solar Enegry, and apply it to my remodeling work. WAnt to find the last love of my life and be happily mated again!

Well, well!!! Look who the cat brought in!!! Hi friend! I'm not so deep tonight to think about what I want to do before I die per se. (in fact, 3 months ago I almost did as I broke my neck...literally!) So, the whole living the most today has a whole new meaning I suppose as I'm recovering to nearly full health. Since I've lived on the edge before, honestly I have taken a big safe step back from the edge to steadier ground in some ways. The pace and view look clearer now. But, I suppose that's just the healing me talk. Let me think on it. I would like a husband, partner, lover and friend all in one instead of spread among many (not that I have gobs of lovers...do not misread that part! hee hee). But "my main man" would be one for sure only if he's a good one covering all said areas. Not sure what else just yet. I'll think on it and get back to you. I may be having a mid-life "question mark" so your timing is good. Oh...thought of another one sincerely. I want to die hearing God's voice say "well done thy good and faithful servant" and use the gifts He's given me to help others grow. But, don't know exactly what that translates to or where just yet...but I've always had that one. And, I still want to learn to catch a BIG fish on the big water too. Would still like to visit more of the Mediterranean. Exotic parts of Croatia on the sea still on the "to do" list as it's so beautiful and not so touched yet. I've been told I have a few books in me to write, but don't have the patience to do so. Hmmmm...porn star is scratched off the list as another Debbie did that once! haha (kidding of course) Nice to see you LL! Hope you are doing well!! Deb
