'Most people die at age 25, but are not buried until age 65'. What do you think he is really saying? My Answer: He was saying that people forget how to dream.

Michael, I respect your answer, surly the answer is deeper than both our answers. I don't think at age 25 we are disillusioned or disappointed yet, maybe learning to be set in our ways. Life becomes stagnant for varying reasons; however, the most causes include (1) forgetting how to re-motivate oneself by dreaming, seeing past what is and (2) living in a comfort zone. Motivation to dream is tough. It requires an objective, a plan, and a reason. If any of these items are missing, then the reason for the pursuit of a dream disappears. We sometimes become so stuck on a way of life, or a direction, that when we encounter change of any type, the resulting change causes us to stall. Life, as we once knew it, is over. This, because we've been so focused on a given path that any sudden changes knocks us off balance. Dreamers know, the end of one way of life is indeed the beginning of a new life altogether! In such cases, we have forgotten how to motivate ourselves and decide that it's easier to live in a comfort zone and ignore our voids, as opposed to breaking out and chasing a dream. robtest, Benjamin Franklin lived from 1706-1790, that would have made him 84 years old. Thanks for contributing to the blog.

I think you are correct about the forgetting how to dream, but don't think that is a Ben Franklin quote... Even up until the early 1900's, the average lifespan was only 40-45...
