... and I'll probably have to drop my head in shame from lack of comments. But anyway, I'll be gone from the internet till sometime next week. I'm going to a national summit in D.C. for this fellowship program that I'm in. Sure I'll get a room to myself, but I won't be able to enjoy it cause I'll be working the whole time... Meh, oh well. Laters.

Well, in D.C., the Young People For Fellowship wanted to know what it was I wanted to achieve in my community, campus, etc., and at the time, I had no idea. But during one of the many meetings, I had in epiphany of sorts as to what I want to do. All of the issues that were presented, racial bias, LGBT rights, over coming global warming, and many more, were all equally important one way or another. I realized the real problem was lack of knowledge or indifference towards these many subjects. Therefore, I came up with the name for my (... well, I don't really intend on starting a group, but my project is a film in which I will be writing, so I suppose the name is for my production company) called S.K.A.I. (pronounced sky as in Thai), that stands for "Sofa King Against Ignorance." Say the first two words aloud, and you'll get it. And yes, that will be the actual spelling that I will use for it. Hopefully through the networking I've done and the artistic students I'm around, I will accomplish my goal, and be able to show my film to masses of folks. Thanks again you guys. ~Jill

Trey- Sorry, but I got this too late. And I didn't have a car anyway. But I think it'd be very interesting to meet Ms. Sepelo in the flesh, and I wouldn't be opposed to the idea. Gem- Thanks. I did party, though I'm not sure it was a Saturday. It was only five days, but seemed much longer. At the time, I thought Saturday was *Sunday. We had on average 18 hour days. They wanted to make the most of it.

PaulineMaria- Actually, it was *really productive. We did this whole "speed networking" thing, and I think I met some folks who can help me achieve my goal of awareness. SimonSD- There was a lot of work, but I did have tons of fun socializing with new people who were on the same page as I am. Okay, alright, there was a party, but the DJ totally sucked. QueenofyourDreams- Oh... I'm a blushin' :D DebbieinItaly- Some other time? And perhaps about the hot guys, though I didn't really run into any... They were either too short, taken, gay or all three. I'm not quitting, though; the search continues.

sepelo7- Aww... thanks :D And yea, I know I don't blog as much, which is weird, considering I'm a writer (though not professional). Should I write more? What would you like to see? Candie- Thank you tremendously for caring, seriously. katiegrlK2B- I am, I am, I am!

Puck- At the first few lines, I thought it was sarcasm. But, of course it wasn't- not at all. Sucks... thanks :D SweetestOne- Thanks for the kind wishes :) As for making the most of it- I really did. Met a lot of wonderful people who I will definitely keep in touch with. Cupid2007- I did have a safe trip, though the turbulence (cause of the storm in Chicago) caused a bit of anxiety... Thanks :)
