If I see this one more time i will scream. I DARE any of you to find one profile out of 10, with a man looking for a woman of his own age. For kicks, changing my profile to 25-40 just to see what happens. A test if you will. Dare me? Check my profile!!! Men get away with this? Why can't I? comments? I always date youngers anyhow but not THAT much younger. Not my SON'S age. :0

Nautigal, To answer your question, NO "BITES" from this site ever ever ever, but other sites are chomping at the bit to get a piece of me and mostly ALL YOUNGERS. :) I've found this site only good for making GIRLFRIENDS. (who'd have thunk it?!)And I should become a paying member???

Lizzy, that's too bad the guy turned out to be dishonest. I think trying to date a much younger woman so you can grow old "with" her (or, more accurately, "in front of her") is very selfish.

I spoke with a gentleman on the phone from this site, who after talking to, I liked very much, at least as a friend. I found out later by a simple internet search that he lied about his age by 7 years - he claims to be 42 on here when in reality he is 49. At 42, I was still thinking, 'He's twice my age . . . ' But knowing he lied made a big difference to me. I still think he's a nice guy. But I don't continue a relationship if I was lied to from the get go. His reasoning behind liking younger girls was that he wants to find someone young and beautiful so that he can grow old with her.

come on Scorp...we ALL know that this is fantasyland where ALL things are possible. I personally cant figure out why any woman would want an older man but thats not for me to decide. ANY person has the right to seek what they THINK they want and to pursue it. They may find it,,or spend and inordinate amount of time a-l-o-n-e. Blueys,,your now in MY age range..plus i always thought you were cute. If near SF,,come on by ! and Lisalisa,,nice to see you back on the blogs, once again with some wicked humor. # 4,,its CLASSIC!

Bumping and asking ----Scorpio, did you complete your test with changing your age? Just wondering about your results. I've been anywhere from 26 to 109 on my profile. It doesn't matter what my picture looks like, at 26 men appeared from everywhere! Not surprising, but disappointing. And how were your results?

I know what you mean I do not think they want a relationship as much as they cannot drink from the fountain of youth so they have it beside them; but who wants to babysit the rest of their lives that goes both ways a women in her 40 or 50 most likely is not going to want take care of a guy in his 70's I do think age matters as you can relate so much better. But, to each their own as well as for some it does work out.

Scorpio, What would you think if you saw the following blog posted. +++ Woman 5'5" WANTS MAN 5'11 - 6'4" If I see this one more time I will scream. I DARE any of you to find one profile out of 10, with a WOMAN looking for a MAN of her own height. +++ You would probably think that's okay, because everyone is entitled to their own phsical preferences. So why is age the only criteria you object to? What does a man's height have to do with his kindess, intellect, honesty or intgrity. You figure specifying the height you want and ruling out many men is fine because physically you find that more attractive TO YOU - but you get angry and frustrated when men use age as their qualifier because maybe they find that more attractive to them. Once again - I don't think I see your point...sigh... must be a 'woman' thing.

Great blog! Although two of my sisters are married to men 15 years their senior (one sister is very wise beyond her years, the other sister's husband is quite immature), I find it impossible to think about what a 45 year old guy would have to talk with an 18 year old woman about. I admit that the older we become, the larger the gap in age that can be sustained (I can see a 60 year old guy with a 40 year old woman if both parties wanted, but could never imagine being with someone younger than 25 myself now that I'm 38). I think guys like the ones you are referring to should differentiate between whether they are looking for a relationship or something else.

I don't think I see your point. What is wrong with wanting to meet younger women as long as they are of legal age?

Unfortunately, the JockLawyer is probably right about what the younger man is looking for in a relationship with a older woman. But, I think the older man likes to show off the eye candy in front of people to show that he still has what it takes to get it. Could it be the "Money"????

What can a 46 year old man possibly talk about with an 18 year old girl? Oh, I'm sure we could think of something......just kidding, of course But, seriously, Scorpio, all men are not like that at all. You can hang with the best of them on here. Besides, if you're "successful" in getting that "younger" guy, my guess is he's not in it for the "relationship" potential you probably seek.... My $.02 (but worth much more, of course)

Its true alot of guys on here seem to state that they are looking for a girl 18 and over. Perhaps they are just taking a chance to see if a young girl would actually date them. I'm researching at the moment mate selection. Quite interesting. Often beauty is viewed as a fair exchange for money- ie the footballers wife scenario. So perhaps the older guys with more money think they can get a younger girl as she may be looking for financial security. I say go for it scorpiobeautie. You look pretty and will have no problem finding a younger guy. As Will said- younger guys often like mature ladies. More worldy often with less drama. sarah :-)
