two sides of honesty Posted on Dec 20, 2008 at 07:49 PM
I am discovering that there are two sides to honesty. There is the side that everyone >>says<< they want and there is the side they >>really<< want... I read many profiles on this site, that site and some others of which I am a member and I came to two conclusions. First, either I'm just a cold hearted beayotch or I'm the only person I have ever encountered who really wants and uses honesty as it is defined in webster's. Second those people who say they want real honesty in a significant other, really mean they just want someone who will be with them and make them happy on their terms whether honesty is part of it or not. On that other site I do not have a photo posted. The other day I was contacted by an extremely physically pretty gentleman. Although I found his features charming and his profile seemed nice, physically I found him to be too slim for my tastes, he had tattoos of which I am not fond, and we had very little in common. His profile had appeared in my list of "compatible" matches. I rejected him and thought nothing of it. On that site since it is not a paying site and you can look at and contact anyone you wish and they can see if you looked at them, he saw that I had viewed his profile. Rejecting does not mean blocking, so he wrote me a very nice email and posted the link to another site where he had many more photos posted. So I went to look and discovered that we were even less compatible than I had thought but I answered his email as I thought that was the least I could do and I might at least have made a new friend. I did not mention that I did not think we would match. I simply directed him to the same site he had directed me as I am also a member there and I did have photos posted there. The same ones I have posted here on many occasions. I have gotten no response. He said he thought honesty was attractive and yet he seems not to be nearly as attractive as he thought he was. Honesty would have been sending a reply that said I was not what he wanted in a match. Perhaps I should have said this to him first but I didn't want to offend him and he really seemed like a nice guy. The question is, what is honesty? Many people on this site and others complain that the photo must match what they get in person. Mine do. They were taken in the last 2 to 3 years. I have not changed much. I have put on 10lbs. When I am asked my opinion, I give it as I really feel it. That seems to frighten so many people away. Not that my opinions are radical, but the sheer honesty of them silences many potential new friends. My honesty in speaking to someone who has contacted me is no different than the honesty you have read in this blog. I am not sure why that is such a deal breaker. I understand that I am not everyone's cup of tea. I am quite realistic about my looks. I know that I am no longer the slim young thing I once was. I am not the most beautiful woman on this or many other sites, but I am not unattractive. I think my questions in all of this is what about real honesty frightens people so and what sort of "honesty" are they really looking for if not real honesty?
if you happen to notice... Posted on Sep 03, 2008 at 05:07 PM

vanishing blogs and bloggers Posted on Jul 11, 2008 at 06:49 PM
I was in the middle of replying to a blog by flying spur where he had been lambasted on im by someone and then didn't get a good reception from some of the ladies on here when POOF it was gone. Then I read a blog about a missing blogger. So when I checked for said missing blogger I found no trace. His profile was not to be found and neither were comments he had left on blogs as well as his blogs. What gives? Why are people and blogs disappearing? Does MM have a Bermuda Triangle type thing going on or is it just... well MM? Guess next will be either this blog or Me or both.

I finally got those *bleep* pictures up. Posted on Jul 09, 2008 at 08:21 PM
Okay so I wrote the blog about the nightmare trip to Pittsburg for business and promised to post some photos. This first photo is a dress I did for my friend. She chose the pattern and the color and I put it together.

I was gonna try to find a new lover. Posted on Jun 30, 2008 at 09:10 PM
My last lover couldn't keep up. His libido and mine were so not in sync. It wasn't really his fault. His medication affected his desire. Mine does too but since my libido is very high normally and now I am hitting the peak years, my meds only make me slightly normal where as his made him mostly non interested. So he is history and I am in need of a new lover. I unfortunately live in an area where there are few single men and even fewer with the same interests as mine. So the question is, how do I go about finding a new lover who is not still married with whom I can have a conversation every once in a while?
Is anyone else having problems with the site? Posted on Apr 06, 2008 at 01:10 PM
For the past three days, I have been having trouble getting to the site. When I type the MM address in the address bar, I get a "cannot find server" error. I have had to set the login to keep me logged in because if I manage to get to the site i get the same error when I try to log in. I have managed to get in several different ways that don't always work when I try them. I have gone to my personal email address and clicked on the link to someone who has emailed me from there and that has worked once or twice. And sometimes I have started typing the address and then chosen a previous page I have visited from the site. Thank God that worked today. This is getting annoying.
Business Trip Nightmare Posted on Mar 21, 2008 at 04:28 PM
So I plan this business trip and I have everything worked out...with the exception of a few of the costumes. I buy the non refundable tickets to the event. I even buy extra tickets to a $100 a plate charity fund raiser dinner. Now one of my models is getting married and her navy fiance will be on shore leave that week so she wants to cancel. Can I get a replacement at this late date? No. I can't. No one can get the time off. And as if that isn't bad enough the other model refuses to share a room with a stranger even if I could find a replacement. So I'm leaving for Pittsburgh on April 15th with an extra ticket and short one model. I'm pulling my hair out on this one and there is nothing to be done about it. I'm really going to need a drink at this one. If anyone wants to join me in that drink (even coffee) give me a yell and I'll tell you when the bar opens.
My final word to and on VisionaryLover. Posted on Dec 14, 2007 at 04:56 PM
This blog is in response to VL's question to me in Kitten's "Abuse" blog as to how I consider him a blasphemer and what he said that made me think this. I brought it out here because the subject was hijacking my friend Elizabeth's blog and taking it off subject. Romans 14:1-6 "Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks." First I want to say that I have no objection what so ever to VisionaryLover's lifestyle. He may choose what foods he puts into or doesn't put into his body. He may have any beliefs he wishes. His beliefs are his, whether they be that unicorns still roam the earth or even if he believes aliens are observing the planet. My objections are not to his beliefs. My objections are to his teachings concerning Christianity where it blends with his "faith". First he doesn't even call my Lord and Savior, Jesus unless he uses parenthases. He calls him Joshua ben Joseph or Christ Michael of Nabadon. My bible says in Matthew 1:21 "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." My Lord and Savior was named Jesus not Joshua or Michael. Nowhere in my bible, which happens to be the King James version, is he called by any other name than Jesus. In the blog VisionaryLover wrote entitled "The Great Pyramid" he made this statement: "Few actually understand its purpose nor that it is still being used for its original purpose; a temple of light. The place where Joshua ben Joseph (Jesus) was "christianed"." Jesus wasn't "christianed", he IS the Christ, the son of the living God. The entire blog of Melchizidek was wrong which is why I'm sure it was deleted. However in some of the responses made by VL there was much wrong with his understanding of the bible and it's teachings. He said: "My biggest issue with them as a faith is the great untruth about their heritage being tied to Abraham via Melchizedek. It is not true. Melchizedek was an incarnate immortal and Abraham was a Sumerian (ancestors of Adam and Eve's decendents) from the Second Garden of Eden. Neither ever crossed with any Hebrews, as they report. They have never had a covenant with "God", nor are they the "chosen people", nor was Abraham ever connected to the Hebrews. They have been polytheistic all of their history and still are in reality. They have evolved their concept of "God" based on fear and the practice of "being different". They even record their time differently than the rest of the world in order to appear important and "set apart", which they are not. Their multiple names of "God" are all from nature deity spirits or nature itself. " God seperated Abram from his people for the express purpose of creating the Hebrew nation. Genesis 17 "And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, And kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised." That was the covenant of God with Abraham who was the father of the Hebrew nation. VisionaryLover also said: "#2. Know that Faith is the ONLY REQUIREMENT for eternal salvation. There is no need for any religion nor mediators to get to the Father in heaven, including Jesus. Wow!" The bible clearly states in John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." And Mark 16:16 states: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Those are the requirements of eternal salvation as written in the bible. In his blog "The Five Epochs" he wrote this of Jesus: "Joshua ben Joseph (Jesus) He was A Creator Son. An order of celestial beings that are in charge of vast knowledge of the Creator itself. They are usually rulers of universes and large domains of space. He is known as Christ Michael. He came to this planet to fulfill his "completion requirements" as the new ruler of our local universe. He had to experience each of the realms of existence within the local universe personally in order to understand each realm and be able to take over as the ruler of our local universe. Our planet was chosen as his last and final incarnation before that assignment, which he completed. He is now our local universe sovereign. He is the only incarnation actually born of a physical women ever. His mission was to teach us of the truth of the Father and to worship him. He is the only Creator Son ever to be killed upon any location within any universe. " John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." This was Jesus purpose on this planet. VisionaryLover makes a lot of statements about "Paul of Tarsus" in his blog "The Cult of Mithra" in which he accuses Paul of twisting the cult of mithra into the Roman Catholic Church. If he actually read his bible he would know that he was born Saul of Tarsus and he made career of persecuting Christians. Acts 9:1-7 says: "And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. " Saul sat in Damascus for 3 days completely blind and eating nothing until Ananias came to him after Jesus told him where to find Saul and thru Jesus he healed and baptised Saul. Saul then went about the world preaching the gospel. He wrote letters to the churches who had asked him questions concerning the faith that were later gathered together and form most of the text of the New Testament. This is the same man who sat in jail awaiting death because he would not renounce Jesus. This is the man he wants us to believe didn't know Jesus and twisted the cult of mithra into Christianity? I think not. I'd say after that experience he knew Jesus. Anyone who reads the book of Acts will see who Paul of Tarsus really was and anyone who reads the books of the New Testament will see what faith Paul held most dear. I could continue quoting his words and then quoting the bible passages that prove him wrong and his words to be blasphemy but what would that help? He will believe what he wishes to believe. He will continue to take God's word and twist it to create his own reality and he will continue to foist it off on the readers of these blogs. Nothing any of us will say will change that, not me, not Uptowngirl76, not Rib4him, not EmperessBea, no one. My objection has never been to the man but to his twisting of God's word to suit his truth. The bible has been researched for hundreds of years. The people mentioned in those works have been recorded in history. The cities are real and the ruins of many are visable. Some still exist today. Any human on the planet can go to those cities and read their histories and find the truths from the bible in the history of the word. The church that Christ started exists today as he founded it. I am a member of that church. I may not be a perfect Christian but I do not attmept to twist God's word to suit myself. Romans 16:17-18 "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple." And so from this day, the man known as VisionaryLover ceases to exist for me. Thank you and goodnight.
