I HAVE FOUND HIM!!!!!! Posted on Feb 03, 2007 at 07:49 AM
QUALITY over quantity... Posted on Jan 24, 2007 at 07:29 AM
Well all, an update is in order here on my dating life. I want you all to feel encouraged, my goal here. For the first time in a very longg time, I've met some QUALITY men to date. I am learning of and conversing with 3 just now... all professional, exceptional men, two engineers and one teacher, two within a hundred miles and one far away but willing to make a committment to me already. When it rains it pours, you know? There has been NOTHING for so long... so mannnnyyy disappointments as I've shared with you..and now finally CHOICES. GOOD choices. It feels so good to have QUALITY choices. Saying this not to BRAG but to encourage you, and they were NOT found on this site where there's entirely TOO MUCH competition. Will be in touch. I would definitely like to spend time with all 3 and have the opportunity to make a decision. I've been dating 5 years and have a goal of making a committment to the most special "one," as I am very ready to make a 'jump' from the "dating train." Wish me luck and I'll definitely be in touch. Ladies I am willing to share which website is producing men of QUALITY. Not that the bloggers here are not....
NETWORKING WOMEN OF MM Posted on Jan 09, 2007 at 05:44 PM
Hi again everyone! Wondering, out of curiosity,if the men of mm NETWORK like we women do? For example, my mm blog friends have "hooked me up" with men in my immediate area or have at least given me names of those to view profiles, have given me wonderful advice in PERSONAL emails, have sought my opinion about certain members I have spoken with and/or met, and even recommended a lawyer with whom I can refer to for legal help. Many have even offered their homes as places to stay in the event that I travel to their cities! Wondering if the men here do the same? Silly me, I suppose, to think we gals are the ONLY ones to use this forum to our benefit. Guys?
MAN 46 WANTS WOMAN 18-45 Posted on Jan 03, 2007 at 08:54 PM
If I see this one more time i will scream. I DARE any of you to find one profile out of 10, with a man looking for a woman of his own age. For kicks, changing my profile to 25-40 just to see what happens. A test if you will. Dare me? Check my profile!!! Men get away with this? Why can't I? comments? I always date youngers anyhow but not THAT much younger. Not my SON'S age. :0
New Year Starts With a Broken Heart Posted on Jan 01, 2007 at 08:07 AM
Hi gang, I think it was SweetBrazillianLady tjat wrote in another blog of late about the CHOICES we make. Of course we are all aware of how good or bad, choices alter our lives. My French Canadian love made a choice to meet "just for sex" w ith another women. He felt "free" enough to tell me once the "rendesvous" was set up. My heart was in my stomach when he annunced this news, my pulse quickened, this was WRONG of him to do. We are obviously DONE. He tells me he loves me and that it is just SEX and he's lonely so far away...then get your azzz to me you idiot! On second thought, stay there! Corrupt your own country! I have been a foolish woman. Soooo not seeing this coming. Ok gang, my date book is WIDE OPEN haha but on second thought, maybe I will remain manless and celebate in 2006. I think that is best for me. That's it..2007 will be th year of NO MORE BROKEN HEARTS and FOOLISH DECISIONS. Any advice??
SONG TITLE THAT DEPICTS 2006!! Posted on Dec 30, 2006 at 07:33 PM
Hi Again, Gang, Ok, song titles that sum up your year in general, be it present or past. Mine would be: (70s tunes seem to cover all): 'Keep on Truckin'" 'Take this Job and Shove It" "How Sweet it is to be Loved By You by You." As you can see, quiet an eclectic year! How about you? Song titles to describe your year??
FAVORITE CHRISTMAS GIFTS Posted on Dec 26, 2006 at 06:39 PM
Hi Gang, Well the holiday "hoopla' has died down for a few days till revisited on New Year's Eve. The last gifts were opened, the eggnog drunk, the cookies eaten and now it's time to reflect on Christmas "06. I feel blessed at this time to have my girls all around me with their boyrfriends, as well, all hanging out comfortably at my house. We enjoyed a meal and conversation, but mostly just enjoyed the time together as a family! I think my favorite gift of all was not one that came from the mall but the letter my youngest daughter had written me, from her heart about being a good mom one that listens to her and thatshe can depend on. That truly touched my heart!! So..reflecting on that thought...I am wondering what gift this year was YOUR favorite. Something that deeply touched you, by the thoughtfulness of it, from the giver that gave it or simply for just being remembered at Christmas time. Maybe it was the kind words of an old friend or an unexpected gift from a neighbor. Please share!

3 CLASSIFICATIONS OF MEN (as i see it...) Posted on Dec 20, 2006 at 06:19 AM
Hi Gang, My best gf and i were having this discussion the other day and not wanting to be a MAN BASHER (who me?) These are the categories of men that ( personally that I have dated over the past five years.) Yes, unfortunately, they ALL have fallen in to one of these 3 categories: They are: 1. "MY SHIP IS COMING IN SOON" These are the guys that are 'on the verge of something big,' career wise. They are flat busted broke for now but SOOON they see their wealthy fortune coming. A guy in this category asked me to go "dutch" our first date haha... (Needless to say there was no date #2.) Strangely enuf, none of their "ships" ever came in but i hung with them all the while. Which leads me to category #2: 'ME MYSELF AND I" These are the big talkers, giving a smooth line, promising you the world and they don't deliver. One guy i dated in this category (he also was a combo "ship",) bragged about his "prized" Porsche that he FORGOT TO MENTION belonged to MOM to whom he was making the payments. These are the types that suck you in with their "lines and promises." (Self-admission of "falling" for said lines a few times.) :( Category #3 (remember now, according to MY personal experience,) are: THE MENTAL CASES Yes, I shared with you all the trials and tribulations of life with my bipolar guy. He tried to hide it from me in the beginning, never telling me, but his symptoms always surfaced. This category also includes the attention deficits, the angries, the OCDS the perpetually impatients, and the poor self -esteems. I guess my point is that I am beginning to see these traits clearly for what they are and early on the alarming "red flags" go "off" andI would like to think and hope there is a 4th category, the "NORMALS," (whatever THAT means,) But unfortunately most men, (IN MY EXPERIENCE,) have fit into one of these 3 categories or have been a combo of them. Dating a combo "ship" and normal now, and i am hoping with him that the "ship" comes in. (There is actual evidence this time in that direction.) (Here we go again!! ....sigh...) :0 Just my two cents worth.

HOLIDAYS ALONE...A FEW OBSERVATIONS Posted on Dec 17, 2006 at 06:24 AM
It saddened me as I read Katiegirl's blog on being alone at Christmas and missing buying gifts for her man. MANY women echoed the same sentiments about this time of year on Katie's blog. One WONDERFUL,BEAUTIFUL woman is even leaving the blogs because she can't find a man and has "given up on it." I'm wondering...Would be ever hear these sentiments expressed by men? I wonder what the MEN'S reaction would be to this same situation that Katie posed in her blog. I noticed only ONE man responded to the blog and did mention the fact that he spent New Year's alone (but negated his lonliness by saying he had LOTS of invites.) Does the holiday lonliness affect men in the same way? If so, why do they NOT voice their feelings in much the same way we women do? I don't think I'd ever hear a man at the department store women's clothing section say: "God, that red dress looks FABULOUS..I wonder where my love, my woman is. I'd sure like to see her in THAT!??!! Is this a not a "man thing" to do? Does their pride get in the way? Do they "distract" by hanging with their buddies, family, "numb" the pain of "aloneness"? Do they DENY same lonliness that we women experience to avoid the pain of it? Do we women just "experience" it(pretend shopping for them, pretend baking, etc.) as part of the process of healing and "moving on" in life? I'd like to hear from more of the "sensitive" types here like Michael (by the way your "proposal" won you lots of points from the gals as the blog would indicate!) and Zack and perhaps Newman on the subject of aloneness at holiday time and how you dealt with it. Men's opinions please? Inquiring minds want to know...truly!
<-OUTTA HERE Posted on Oct 22, 2006 at 08:00 AM
Can't take this petty fighting anymore. I am now working 50 hours a week, loving every minute of it, am back in touch with my Canadian love (who I will spend n ext weekend with,)(got rid of the bipolar,) and life is good, REALLY GOOD. I wish you all the best. I really don't have time in my life for all this negativity anymore. The attitude in general has "gone to the dogs" and it is such an unhappy place to be now. I have really not found what i wanted on here but negativity and sadness. I wish you ALL the best, every one of you. I did make some very good friends on here, and keep in touch with them outside of here. To all the rest, remember the golden rule on here...DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU'D HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU. And whether you deny him or not, GOD LOVES YOU ALL. Take care and God bless each and every one! Melanie/scorpiobeautie

Ok guys and gals, tell us your favorite sexual/sensual turn ons. For me, it is a candlelit bath, wine, soft music. Foot massages and backrubs/massages are nice, too. What turns you on?

WHY DID THEY REMOVE MY BLOG? Posted on Oct 06, 2006 at 07:01 PM
Pretty sad when NON CONTROVERSIAL topics are removed such as Mary Ann or Ginger? Or am I just blind and after 3 reviews of all 9 blog pages, maybe I just can't find my blog?!! Still wondering what men's choices are on this and why?!

WORK OUT ROUTINES Posted on Aug 27, 2006 at 03:59 PM
Curious as to what the ladies (and guys) do to stay fit. I race walk 3x/week for lower body and use 10 lb. hand weights 3x a week for my arms, upper body, but is it enough? I am fast approaching my 50s and keep reading about bone loss and the necessity of resistive weight training to the point of exhaustion to build (declining) bone mass/density. I'm not a "gym rat" but an seriously considering it for the long lasting effects and health benefits. Should I buy a home gym? Which ones are best? Opinions here are needed..and advice. What do YOU do to stay fit?
