i disagree that men are looking mostly for sex talks...I have had many conversations on dating sites with men but I can recall only 2 of them were asking me for that!.. So I assume most of them are looking for the love of their life...LOL...I'm not so young also...lol...and i live pretty far away but the distance never be the BIGGEST problem... it is all about attraction..

Well, personally I hope everyone is looking for the same thing in life and use this sight as an opportunity to make it happen. Yes, it is sad, when there are some jerks ( male and female ), that, yes use the sight for sex and to be a gold digger. Sad, world we live in, when the heart can be stomped and stepped on because others just want to take advantage of the other. I know, I am skittish of this sight, but I signed up anyway. I do hope one day either on here or in my every day to day life I can meet the dreams of my life. I also hope the same for others..

But remember - it only takes one success to make it all worthwhile.

Yes, distance is a problem. Met a great guy on here from London, me from Pa. Too much temptation back home, when months on end not seeing one another. I suppose if you love one another enuf. Daily phone calls help, but it's still hard to not "reach out and touch" your loved one who lives overseas. :(

I wonder also about the type of men on this site- They say they want adventure- love etc- but are not willing to even reply to an email. I thought we were all taught to be at the very least polite. Distance is a problem for most of them also- seems with webcam's etc and airplanes at our disposal if you don't live in the same area then you are out
