I don't know much about canning but the people on that site does. I can tell you that my mom made the best dill pickles, she added hot peppers, plus the dill.  Were delic.

WWWW~

I grew up in NYS and we always had a giant garden.  My mother used to can bottles and bottles of dill pickles.  We grew our own dill; all kinds of berries, rubarb, corn, squash, pumkins, beans, apple orchard, pear trees, Linden tree too.  We even had Maple trees and Grandma used to make syrup.  We had rabbits, chickens, ducks and geese that also made it into our pots occasionally.  It sure was alot of work!  Although we didn't have much money, family of five, we always ate well.

Here in Texas, I try to garden.  I compost and save the seeds from squash.  But alas, the soil is poor; the sun just blisters everything; and the bugs are unrelenting.  This year I probably spent $50 on water alone and got maybe 3 Acorn squash, 3 Casaba squash, 1 pint of grape tomatoes and 2 bell peppers.  *sigh*

Hi Bill  How ru these days, they were good times back 5 or 6 yrs, i never managed to make Vegas , but knew many of the bloggers , met Robtest and QueenofyourDreams , plus a few more. The blogs were great fun, apart from the odd 'war'

I didn't make either of the Vegas meetings from the old MM group but I did make the one in Galveston.   It was a good group of people.  Most are on FB today so I am still in contact with most of them.

I clicked on it.  BTW, I have never dated an "over sexed woman" yet.  I wonder what they are like.  Ha ha.

No, the old group don't meet but a lot are still in contact with each other on FB.  Some do visit individually. ...

My news, not much..

I haven't been doing a lot but I have been doing some "prepping".  I have been learning to grow veggies, preserve them, produce clean drinkable water, etc. I am concerned that the economy might colapse or get really really bad; the country simply has too much debt. Something has to change drastically but I am not sure what.

The SoTex Readiness Net   on FB has some good preppers.  I post on there occasionally.  Some have some beautiful gardens and are canning tons of food. Other good prepping tips also.   I guess I should start a blog on this subject.

that is sad that you grew up somewhere that had no catholic high schools.. we are apparently notoriously frisky in high school, just to piss our parents off.. lol.. i had fun but never too much.. the good old catholic guilt always set in however, we found ways around the teaching of the "church"..lol

Well, there is a catholic church with a singles group not too many miles away. If I wasn't scared of women I would probably check it out. However, now that I know about catholic women I would really be scared to go there for sure. lololol

let me ask you something? you seem to enjoy perusing this site. how have you found it? It seems many men take themselves way too seriously, or if they don't they are just on the more unattractive side. Is this just a fun site to "play" on or do you know if people ever really meet?

Several years ago there were a large number of great bloggers. They had several meeting, in Ohio, in Vegas, in Galveston. I think close to 50 showed up in Ohio, about 25 or so in Vegas, tapered to 10 in Galveston. Generally these people were not interested in dating each other, just meeting each other and visiting. A lot of the women became good friends. You can see most of them on other blogging sites. I thin BillZ and I are about the only ones of that group that still visit this site occasionally. I still am the only sane one out of the whole bunch and I am not sure about me because my different personalities can't agree.. lololol. As to dating.. I recently met one person for dating purposes, part business purposes. Absolute disaster. She was a scammer and con artist. You have to keep your ears open for things that don't sound right,- just like you would anywhere. I know that others have had good dating experiences but I am not here for that reason so I rarely even consider it, and even then, distance is usually too much of a problem to follow up.
