I'm sure we've all considered the thought, "How hard can it be"? I'm looking for only one REAL man out of thousands... a renaissance man, perhaps a few bumps along the road but survived them all admirably. Why should anyone who offers the same settle for less than kind, compassionate, down to earth, balanced, still passionate about life, health, fitness and the outdoors.

I realize everyone says these things but some of us are real... most of us are just waiting for a true partner at every level. Are you?  I jumped off for the past few years for various reasons, the biggest being jaded by the fakes I've encountered along the way. I don't blame you if you've been there... but we shouldn't give up hope. "SOULMATE" "LOVER" GIRL/"BOYFRIEND" what ever that term means to you.... they're out there somewhere and some things are worth making a bit of effort for and can be even better than they appear. We just need to make plans and take a chance.

How brave are you?  In my humble opinion I believe it takes a lot more guts for a renaissance woman to reach out, yet against our grain we are forced to make noise since 90% of the men on this site are likely outnumbered 10 to 1. Not our first choice, most of us would prefer you lead but aren't we out here to dance not to watch the dance. A courteous no thank you both ways says a lot about our character and should and is always appreciated and understood more than you realize.

Consider this... if you are always on here without the intension of getting off hasn't it just become your social circle and not an active dating site?  If that's what you want great but perhaps there should be (tongue in cheek) a "NOT LOOKING" button on the site to save us all time and energy.

Or… perhaps the site should try and categorize their clients into groups of active, inactive and different levels of dating or intimacy, married or otherwise to decrease search time and increase closure therefore generating more leads from their success rates.

Me? Just looking to find ONE man who's willing to go the extra mile & put some effort into getting to know the very REAL, multifaceted person behind the words in my profile.

How do you feel about it? Is there anyone else out there that still actually believes in love & that there's someone out there for all of us?

Quoting wwww12345:

Do you know what being a real renaissance person means?  How about a polymath?

Good one... thank you... Using the term loosely to depict men or women in the category as having solid old fashioned/ traditional values, for the most part believe in traditional men/women relationships, live a cultured life, a true gentleman/woman, well learned & enjoy Arts & Science but generally just using the term in a positive light for old fashioned traditional values. Admire a true Polymath, have dabbled in many areas personally and professionally but would hardly qualify.
