OMG....you got the wooden spoon too????  lolol  That must have been the preferred discipline tool of choice for old world mothers.  My Czech mother used it on me a couple of times.  The whole experiance may have left me emotionally scarred.   *wink*  :))

Ok yeah, the wooden spoon except on Sundays when sauce was made... and then it was the metal spoon.  Pinching a child's cheek was a term of endearment.  However, when misbehaving, with no spoon was nearby, a pinch on the arm would would get your attention and leave a black and blue marks.

Back then, life didn't revolve around children, but I never felt emotionally scarred.  If you kept quiet, the cops never brought you home and your parents never got called into the principal's office, you felt enormous love and, being Italian, they fed you amazing food.

I'll require a detailed listing of your "Pinching Studies" background.  If you pass muster and, unlike TFiend, truly believe in pinching ... have at it.  I doubt you'll be as good at it as my mom was.  She was Italian and came by it naturally.  I preferred the wooden spoon.

Seems I'm not the only one who doesn't give a rat's patootie.  I doubt you'll ever be able to get the time back but you might be able to get a refund.
