Ha ha ha SMax!
I tell you about 3 of my experiences:
I had this guy post some fantastic comments on my profile complimenting my looks, so naturally, I check out his profile and my oh my was he super HOT! So I was well-inclined to comment back, complimenting him as well.
However, at that point in time, he only had the one photo up. But after my compliments, he was sufficiently chuff with himself and may have felt inspired/compelled to post some more photos. So here comes 4-5 more photos......
and I am wondering who the hell is this??? The first photo I complimented must have been taken a good 10 years [or more] ago! OK - that was it!
I had another guy blasting me off with mega compliments. So I decide to be polite. He starts e-mailing and casually mentions he would soon be a divorced - 54 year old man...trying to figure out the rest of his life. It didn't make sense as he started in his profile he was divorced or single [but nothing stating the true marital status of separated], and also stating in the profile that he is 50. When I asked him that was, he defended himself by saying he was advised [by this group of imaginary advisers]to protect himself from identity theft by lying about his age! I work in this industry - protection from ID theft? Then you might as well say you are 64 rather than 50 in place of 54?
A funny guy from Scotland - he covered his head with hats, car hoods etc etc in all his photos on his profile and fails to record bald on his profile. He states he is 45 when I met him, I was sitting across the dinner table from a 60/65 year old man, with the spikiest out of place baldness I have ever seen. In his profile he is divorced, but at dinner, he has a wife he hates and 2 daughters he regrets having - living in a house full of women he said! And congratulating me for having 2 boys! The weirdest dinner of my life - I actually reported him to the site to change his marital status and stop deceiving poor ladies looking for love...as for his hair, what can we do about that? :-)
