I have a friend in Montreal who used to say "Love doesn't have an adress." Very smart lady, I think. It always amazes me that people think that the Love they are looking for should be right in their own backyard, and that they should not have to go anywhere, or do anything to find it.
 
This to me is like looking for a job without leaving your house or posting a resume on a jobsite and then waiting for the prospective employer to notice you. With the number of people out of work, how long do you think it will take? How far would you go to get the job of your dreams? Don't you think you should pay the same amount of attention to your relationships as you would your career? Your career and your money won't love you back......
 
Dating sites are the same, we post a profile, and hope someone will notice....take a few stabs at e-mails and winks......get some replies that aren't right......a few with possibilities, that won't make any effort to meet you.....and some that don't reply at all! And then maybe we give up and just blog, it's entertaining, you make new friends, but, is that really what you are here for?
 
So I say....choose carefully how and where you look for the Love of your life, and don't limit yourself to your backyard. The world is a pretty big place!
