thank you for the repies and compliments. Yes, it is true, some individuals instead of focusing on how to better themselves focus thier energy on what others are doing or not doing. These same individuals create drama and negativity. something i can never be a part of.

Thats what is wrong in the world today its "if you dont think, act, or like what i do" then you are wrong. it could get out of control in someone naive and thus create hate crimes.

i say live your life the way you want and i will live my life as i want. Respect other people views even if you dont agree its called emotional intelligence.

Hi there SARI and WELCOME TO THE BLOGS.... ;)

It is true.. No one should shove their beliefs on anyone. I feel this must be a difficult time for you to join in, as there has been some bashing lately, but hopefully this is subsiding... I enjoy happiness more than nastiness! And my religious preference has NOTHING to do with that! :)

I would however, as someone who was an advertising exec for years, state to everyone,

"If you are seeking a certain "type" individual, IE: Black women / men seeking to date only white individuals, (that is common here), it will no doubt serve you better to find an inter-racial site. Those type sites will increase ones odds in finding what they seek. Or if someone is a religious fanatic, there are sites geered for whatever religious preference they choose. (You don't go to an all-ranch style community if you are seeking a 2-story home!) Religion is very powerful. SARI, in the same manner I have viewed Christians claim they do not wish to have aetheism pushed on them, I have witnessed Christians spouting off how Jesus is the "only way" shoving their beliefs on others. These become nasty discussions, rarely end well and are not what this forum is for. Albeit for free speech, but there are times when people should select a classier way of approaching others. I have witnessed both sides of the garbage and will say this.. I have seen "Christians" act very "UN-Christianly", and I have seen aetheist tow the line of nasty right with them.... And I "pray" it STOPS! LOL...

It is inevitable for people not to butt heads now and again, but that is when I feel we, as "Christians" are to "lead by example" and diffuse the situation, not fester it. I would imagine there must be sites for "conservatives" and "liberals" as well. Have we ever had some heated discussions over politics! HA! Wait til you see those discussions! ;)

SARI, WELCOME here and I hope you enjoy your time on the blogs. There are many great people here! I can honestly say I have something I like about every person I have ever written to on the blogs. I would just caution anyone, "Watch where you step, as even great people can leave a little "doo" behind them!"

Heeheehee~~

Hi Sari2013,

Welcome to the blogs. It's nice to have you join us. I think too many times we sometimes forget that we don't have the right or power to change or judge another person's lifestyle, beliefs or values. You sound like an intelligent, open minded woman, and I look forward to your input.
