Drinking and Dating

This just in on the local news. Studies show that drinking alcohol really does affect your judgment.
In particular people rate their date as more attractive after drinking.
What's more people rate others of the same sex more attractive after drinking.
I guess this just means people are less judgmental and picky after drinking, maybe due to pier pressure. Or maybe they just can not see as clearly.

Food to go

Does everyone else have trouble with grocery stores discontinuing their favorite purchases?
This may sound snobbish, however I used to watch The Food Network. The local Safeway's bakery had Pagoda Brownies, (hopefully the name and spelling are correct). They looked elegant for a dessert and had some of the flavors I love, like the brownie and chocolate topping, chocolate wafer squares, and the sweet custard I like. Simple yet elegant.
They were sold until the last few months and today when I asked the person at the bakery counter, he said they were discounted and brownies are still available. They are available in four per package.
The four-pack brownies were great, however I do not want four brownies all of the time and liked to buy the Pagoda Brownies every once in a while. My usually over forty miles a week running takes care of these calories.
They could at least make them by request.
And, does everyone think a brownie is the same as a Pagoda Brownie?
Does anyone else have problems like these? Sometimes I think I'm the only one they do this to.

Is technology much more acceptable now?

I do not hear many negatives on technological advancements any more. There lots of articles and stuff around the seventies.
Has the Internet made technology acceptable as a means of communicating with low cost all over the world much like the printing press made books available to the masses?
Or have people just accepted technology because it has advanced so much and keeps improving our lives?

Why do so many people hate Hillary Clinton?

I've seen comments on some of the news websites about the candidates. People state that they hate Hillary. They don't have to vote for her, but why do they hate her. I read a lot of the news. I do not see anything that would cause me to hate her. Maybe disagree sometimes.
JFK was supposed to be like that, people either loved him or hated him and he squeaked through to get elected.
Obama has been getting some news that the Clintons used to get and people are essentially saying, "Ah, so what."
