That pumpkin I put in my classroom went amazingly horrid. This morning it was covered in white furry mold. Like the whole of the inside was full to the lid and pouring out the eyes and mouth. Haha. The day before, the kids were like- Miss H there are spider webs in the pumpkin. Ah well it all added to the haunted look.

Scale of dragon, tooth of wolf, Lizards tail and one horse shoe, Half a maggot, eye of worm, Chicken necks and one boars nose, Into the cauldron it all goes, Lots of beetles and wasp stings too, Half an earwig, one old shoe, Ten birds guts and two cats ears, All mixed in with two old dears, Add there to a tigers chaudron, * For the ingredients of my cauldron. *
Actually I wrote this when I was 11. We had to use two lines of Macbeth's witches spell and write our own lines for the rest. I remember my teacher laughing hard at the line where I wrote two old dears. He wasn't sure whether I was meaning the animal or old people. So I chose old people. ;-)
