I can hardly believe I'm going all that way on my own. I've never been on a flight as long as that before on my own. Hopefully I'll have a nice buddy to sit beside.
I haven?t been well organised with my trips. Nothing has been paid for. Takes them a week to reply to an email and they don't answer the phone. So I think I will just have to arrange things when I'm over there or ask my uncle to.
My plans are to go on a full day cape peninsular tour, go on a cape town city tour, a township tour, cage shark diving, table mountain, robin island, see the penguins, botanical gardens, check out the wine lands and whatever else cape town has to offer. I'm not going on a safari as that is on the other side of south Africa and I'm just not going to have enough time. So that will have to be done another time. Perhaps after next year.

Hi Ron, thanks for the info. Unfortunately I will not be in the North this time but will be exploring some rural locations around Cape Town too. My aunty and uncle stay in the wine lands. So it will be interesting to taste some of the South African wines. This will be the point where my photos may go a bit blurry hehe.

I live in South Texas but am a resident of South Africa, as well.¿ I've never been to Cape Town but spend most of my time in the North around Thabazimbi....a lot of game farms. It's a glorious country with problems, of course.¿ If I were you, I'd travel mostly in rural areas and avoid big cities.¿ I hear the the Garden Coast and Wine Country are glorious. Ron

Lol are you referring to the scammers George? From Nigeria with love! ;-) Actually there was a lady from South Africa who used to blog but South Africa is a big country. However, i'm open to meeting up with people.

I lived in Cape Town as a child. I would like to visit it again. Even looked at relocating there at one point. I do not remember much wooden houses and chickens Lol:) oh yes I had a dog who used to tug at my pockets and tear them :) His name was Lucky :)
I also remember a large rhino doing a dump. Lol:)Lol funny how I never forgot that lol:)lol and watching some lions somewhere in Africa. Lost in Africa takes a new meaning.....
