So according to my Nike running app, I ran just over 5 miles today and within that ran my fastest 5k. So I've signed up for a 10k run in June to raise money for Cancer Research. So just like last time, if you wish to sponsor me IM me, email, blog me etc and I shall send you the link to my page on the charity website.

Sarah :-)

Quoting Hoping4Love2000:

Sweet young lady, let me tell you.. SPARTAN isn't just running! They crawl all around in the mud getting dirty and climb ropes and do all kinds of stuff like you do for military training! I read on his FB page he, his best friend and his father, (my ex) , all placed in the top 20%.. I expect that of my son, but the old dude?? Bwahahaha!

I am going to get in shape and then when they see me, they will be shocked! (I've never been "fit"... just thin!)

My goal is to look good by my B-day in Mid May... Then I'll drive up to Charlotte and make the old geezer take me to a fancy restaurant! ;) I did some squats the other day and my legs are finally okay! Started my Yoga again at home too!

Next, I am looking into jogging this week. I've got the flab going n now that I quit smoking! UGH!!

Hope you are doing well and look up Spartan races. I could see you playing around in the mud, esp since most contestants are male.. You might meet Mr. Wonderful! ;)

Wonder where my boy got his climbing abilities?

(I was working offshore and we were tied up to a barge... No I didn't make it up that way.. Had to use the ladder!!) Way easier climbing the mast!!

Monkey see--- LOL.. ;)

Good for you Hope, you already look in great shape. You seem pretty skilled at climbing the rope. Not sure how I am at rope climbing. Hehe  Maybe thats how I shall meet my match at a Spartan race. haha Well you never know... haha

Hello Hope, Hello Windrider, that will be great! Thank you! I shall send you the link Hope and send you an email Windrider. :-) Every little helps. :-)

I love running. It's easy really to do as you can do it whenever you want. You can start off at your own pace and distance and just gradually build it up. It takes a while to start up. I used to go very early in the mornings so nobody could see me struggling for the first couple of months. I started summer 2011 and have kept it up since. A great way to stay fit. It makes you feel better. Plus you get to take part in great events such as this to raise money for good causes.

I should really add a Spartan run to my bucket list, lol Post the pics on here. lol

Hi Sarah,

Great job, and I know you'll do well in the 10K also.

As HopelessRomatic stated, there are many new things being discovered and many natural cures that most conventional doctors scoff at...even though they have a great track record. One of them is FlorEssence tea. It was developed by a Canadian Oncologist and I know people personally, who have tried it and they are now testing negative on their checks. I also have a friend in a town north of me who has a kennel and has cured cancer in dogs with this amazing herbal tea.

Google it...it's time well spent.

Hope has my addy, please send me the sponsorship information for your next run.

Thanks everyone! I love running. It is a fun way to stay in shape and it's great to put your efforts towards good causes too.

It's always good to hear new research about cancer. Can't wait until they find a cure to stop all these lives being wasted.

Sarah

That's awsome Sarah

Interesting stuff on Cancer below Many researchers have claimed that vitamin B17 has certain medicinal properties and can be used for the treatment of cancer. It is the cyanide present in vitamin B17 that destroys the cancer cells. Thus, according to them, amygdalin not only prevents the onset of cancer, but also helps in its regression. For cancer treatment, Laetrile pills are administered orally or through intravenous injections. Consuming food rich in vitamin B17 helps in fighting cancer. Some other health benefits of vitamin B17 include reducing pain associated with arthritis and lowering high blood pressure.

Romantic,

Thanks for sharing the new info on cancer treatment. I'm all about natural health and nutrition.
