I am looking for some inspiration and am hoping you can help me out... Has a woman ever done something romantic for you that just floored you? Something spontaneous and fun that swept you off your feet? We all hear stories about women getting flowers and candy or being wined and dined, but what do women do for the men in their lives to make them feel appreciated? Ladies, if you have any tried and true suggestions, you're more than welcome to share too!

lovelylotus...of course you can use it, I'm not the one that came up with the whole idea. It all started with this book that I saw once a long time ago. A little one called "Little ways to say I love you", later on I found one that was called "1001 ways to be romantic", then they came out with part 2 on that one. Very inspirational. Whatever you do, hopefully "He" will reciprocate and understand the importance to have romance in a relationship.

Greatsean, I think it's the things like that that make a relationship work in the long-term. The seemingly inconsequential niceties... Ladyimage, that has to be one of the most romantic things I have ever heard, can I try it out sometime? (I promise to give you credit!) Frankie, you continually amaze me... Such insight, talent and beauty! Your ex was a fool to let you get away! Will, what can I say? Hope you're doing well...

well maybe the guys can't remember because it blew their mind.. Of course everyone loves Lotus.. I once arranged to sit in with a band that my ex was going to see on his birthday. I am a drummer. So i rehearsed with them, unbenownst to my ex.. and we were sitting in the audience together.. the band took a break.. I went to the bathroom and when the next set started, I was the drummer.. ,The lead singer said Happy Birthday from your wife..He was floored and blew him away..cf

I've once worked as a flower girl and brought home a bucket full of rose petals, made a trail from the house door to the dining room where a wonderful light dinner with candles burning was waiting. The trail then went to the bathroom set up for quick shower and his favorite (and mine) shorts, the trail wound up the stairs to the bedroom that had all the fixings. Champagne on ice, candles, nice slow music and lightly scented air. The next day I gave him a Lil tiny box with a curl of my hair with a ribbon scented with my perfume from the night before. This was for my ex before he went to Saudi in 1990. He said he almost went AWOL to stay behind. I'm a die hard romantic. I also tucked many many Lil Lovenotes in places I knew he would find. A hanky with my perfume in his Suit, Loveletters in the mail even though we lived together, making sensual picknic baskets and in the spurr of the moment grab his hands and off we went. We stayed married for 18 yrs. Alas then came a grasspatch that looked even greener to him, which dried out quickly after our divorce. Oh well....life goes on...there will always be another to be romantic with again.
