I don't usually blog but we could use some entertainment here so I will start and maybe some of you will add some more photos, critiques or personal communciation online or while dating that was challenging, funny, or interesting.

Some of you may have already seen this photo I've posted of this hair masterpiece before but when I saw someone's real photo today, I was reminded of this clipped hair on someone's head photo I already had. I have seen too many photos of men that looked liked this back of the head but a lot of them also were wearing baseball caps or doo-rags/skull caps so you couldn't tell what kind of hair they had if any.

Who would this poem be appropriate for, may I ask? Certainly not me,lol, I have pride and would never beg to anyone in a kabillion years. I am also not the type to give "anything", if anything means your self-respect, my integrity, etc.,etc.. It is a nice poem for someone who could relate to it I suppose.  Thanks for posting it anyway, I'm sure some readers will enjoy it.

We are all human, with the cognative ability to be ourselves; the best choice. The way we mix our chemistry, is projected as our persona. Some argue that the planets vibrate at a certain harmonic tone. You get them all, and articulate this, I believe, due to that Moon position on your chart. You have a double-shot of what most accept as the daily grind(keeping everything in balance). For some reason, earth signs are good for water signs. I would suggest that you go through the earth signs, when seeking a companion, and coordinateyears (earth sign years)  on the Chinese 12. So much emotion, not channeled, is wasted. Leo's have that emotion, but they channel it(Me,Myself,& I thing)....Myself says to Me....). My half sister's daughter is a Cancer,so I saw that quick, revolutionary spirit. I had to temper her(26) to a Sag. boyfriend(her brother's sign-go figure). By matching the same personalities, we were able to track his way of dealing with his Sag. emotion, and hers. It is still a hotbed of emotion, but tempered. We all are subject to these same vibrations. Conception is dynamic, and birth is documented. I actually think that this"Proveing Ground is composed primarily of 12 personalities, and sub influences, tuning our beings(average trillions of human body atoms-brain reactive according to universal tone), and what is the Moon position at birth(Sun-Cancer),Gen.

Cancers(ast.) are fast, and reactive to their environment as well. If you extended my thought to leo's,then, leo's like air signs,  and Sag. women due to their perky honesty, who also works, and rocks the room with laughter.

EEEasy,Gal! :-)

Thought this was kind of appropriate:

"Love Has No Pride"

I've had bad dreams too many times
To think that they don't mean much anymore
Fine times have gone and left my sad home
Friends who once cared just walk out my door
Love has no pride when I call out your name

Love has no pride when there's no one left to blame
I'd give anything to see you again
I've been alone too many nights
To think that you could come back again
And I've heard you talk, "she's crazy to stay"
But this love hurts me so, I don't care what you say

Love has no pride when I call out your name
Love has no pride when there's no one left to blame
I'd give anything to see you again

If I could buy your love, I'd truly try, my friend
And if I could pray, my prayer would never end
But if you want me to beg, I'll fall down on my knees
Asking for you to come back, I'd be pleading for you to come back
Begging for you to come back to me

Love has no pride when I call out your name
Love has no pride when there's no one but myself to blame
I'd give anything to see you again
Yes, I'd give anything to see you again

Hi Jen,

I have a member on millionairematch.com for four months and I am shocked with profile wording, photo selections and misrepresentation. Like you, I am an honest and down to earth woman looking for the "right  man". What's up with the players on here? I am frustrated with the selection and the men who wink and/or email once then when you respond they go missing...also, where does it say that we are suckers who will send dudes in Africa money when they send their sob and heartbreaking stories...one guys profile was removed after I told him that I needed verification of who he was because his profile and email to me did not match whatsoever. I suppose it was because I told him that I was no fool that needed companionship so badly that I would willing to oversee that he was clearly lying. Does this site actually yield matches?  Please do tell.

Hello PegCity, sorry it took me a few days to reply. I have been on this site for approx. 2 years now, I gave it a good shot in the beginning and found that at least for me, my odds were low on this site. The little communication I get must be from scammers since their profiles are usually gone before I can even look at them after I've read whatever they sent me. It sounds like you are having the same problem :(

I am sure some members on this site are successful, I don't know any of them though. I have had a liitle bit better luck on other sites.  Sometime this week I will be meeting someone (David) I've been chatting with on & off for months. I met him online because I posted a comment on Facebook for a mutual friend and we started chatting. It is very unusual since I only chose to have about 50 friends on there and am pretty private with little info. on my profile for the public to read.

I have no clue in the world if we will have any chemistry, I also have never even seen a photo of him so I m really stretching it.  He is staying locally for business (and my pleasure?) for a couple of months but he lives in England!!  Yes, I have searched the entire planet, lol. I will know within 10 minutes if there is a special connection or we will be just friends, that's all I need!!

All I can tell you is to hang in there, don't get cynical and stay open to the possibilities.  You never know what may happen! You may find someone who likes poetry ;)

Let the rivers rock you like a cradle
Climb to the treetops, little child,  if you're able
Always let your hands tie a knot across the table
Come  and touch the things you cannot feel

Fold your fingertips, girl, and  find where I can't hold you
Let the sun ray fall and let the dewey ground  unfold you
I know someday you'll sing to me the words I've just told you
If all the things you feel ain't what they seem to be
Don't you mind me  girl, 'cause I ain't really nothin' but a dream

I hold some grapes up to  the sun
Flavor breaks and bursts and rolls upon my tongue
Eager tongues,  we'll always taste our strife
Fill up our lungs with seeds of life
You  come and taste and smell the waters of our times

Close your lips, child,  so softly I might kiss you
Let your flower perfume out and let the winds  come and caress you
As I walk this garden I am hoping I don't miss you
The things you taste and smell ain't what they seem
Don't you mind me girl,  I guess I'm nothin' but a walking dream

The sun and moon both are  right
We'll see them soon through all our days and night
But the colors  I see in your eyes are fiery bright
I swear they blind the heavens with all  their light
Come and see what your eyes cannot see

Close your eyes,  child and look while I show you
Let your mind go reeling out and let the  breezes just blow you
Someday we'll meet again and suddenly I'll know  you
All the things that you see ain't what they seem to be
Now don't  mind me I ain't nothin' but a dream

A mockingbird sings each different  song
Each song has wings and won't stay long
Those who hear him think  he's doing wrong
While the church bell and school bell toll their one note  song
Come hear where your ears cannot hear

Close your ears child and  listen while I tell you
Follow the darkest night, the sounds they may impel  you
Even the song I'm singing may disturb or serve to quell you
All the  sounds you hear aren't what they seem to be
Don't you mind me girl, oh, I  ain't nothing but a dream

If you can follow, girl, follow, girl
If  you can follow, girl, follow

No offense taken.

We learn other's style by mixing the issues. I do not consider myself an R, or a D,and i'm not a Libertard. Are we better off now, after the perfect storm(too perfect) of 2007-2008, and the quick belt tightning that followed? That created a squeeze on everyone. I think of the S&L crisis of the 80's. 2008 was a worldwide twist of the same marketplace. Main street has futility's ingrediants in the front files of the brain. They are the feelings of the Woman- and with emotion, they renovate. We don't need actors playing on a stage in a deceptive posture; halting the progressive process of change. Turning a blind eye still involves pain for the millions who are about now, having a breath of air. Why a healthcare Law was put into play is beyond me; It was Supreme Court tested. The Law was also BYRDed(cloture rule) which is very strict in perimiters finance wise. What about the time lost for the perculating Main Street problems! The Tea Party should be a voice for growth, and repair after the storm. A change in economic livelyhood is a sickning pill, but it was called for in 2005, perculating worldwide in 2007, and burning incomes in 2008-2009. Do they lack critical path thinking?

Still working on the song. Maybe truth will materialize as a line, or verse....The gell point of creating something!

People do interesting things to get noticed.

Thanx for the blog.   ;-)

Well...I must compliment you on that emotional kiss off.Very well timed, and administrated(bows). I learned long ago; the tests of truths, and the difficulties of finding them. You would not happen to be born around July 20th, were you? Cancers are emotional creatures, but there is pawing going on here.

Pawing? What is that? "Test of truths" ? I have no clue what you are talking about. I always try to be as honest as I can without hurting anyone's feelings. I also hate to lead anyone on. I do not believe being sociable in a forum is leading anyone on.

I would say women in general are emotional creatures. From very early on, we are not told to suppress our emotions like boys are. We also have have hormone cycles unlike men do for the most part.

Again, sorry if you are offended in some way.

Hello,

I was hoping some readers in this little blog group we have here would have told of their experiences online. Since it appears I will never get a date from this site, it would be nice if I could at least learn something or get entertained! Learning a country song isn't exactly what I meant but even though I'm not a fan of country songs, it did remind me of a bar I frequent..for the music, not the regulars, lol. I do appreciate you posting the song nevertheless, thanks.

Question for you, you posted: "There is a song there, somewhere, for sure. The Astrology connect is obvious, and misunderstood. The personality parrallels are not." Do you mean the personality parrallels have to do with signs?  I for one, do not believe in horoscopes or signs and cannot date anyone who does. Sorry, gotta be honest, I have friends who have different beliefs but I can't deal with it in someone I would want to date. No offense to anyone, it just isn't my thing.

This astrology thing brings up the subject of how we communicate on the internet. If in person, a friend would bring up something about their sign or horoscope, I would not bother saying anything but because I am trying to represent myself truthfully online, I feel that I HAVE to type my views on whatever. Just like a blind Obama follower should not ever date a conservative. Oil & water don't ever mix.

Oh, mercy, Gen.

You would think I would scare from what people write of me, or what is found on the Net. Appearances are decieving, but you want a pool table sing-along song. I am well versed in music, and will try to accommodate. There is a song there, somewhere, for sure. The Astrology connect is obvious, and misunderstood. The personality parrallels are not. Chrystal's hit was a play on those blue's you possess.

One more post before my blog goes into the dreaded second page of blog history.

His name is Terry, Terry is 56 and didn't tell much in his profile unfortunitely. It took time, some emails, a few phonecalls and some texts within a few weeks to finally get to the gist of his story, what I really needed to know. Had I known all this from reading it in his profile there would have been no communiction between us.

The first thing I found out, which is about the scariest to me is that he has 3 grown daughters. I have one grown -up daughter, I know how she can be, I cannot imagine going into a family situation where there are THREE of them! One can be bad enough!! I wonder if her ears are ringing right now. Yes Melissa, I am typing about you!

Okay, so he has 3 grown daughters, I told myself that I need to face my fears and not immediately say no. In the last few weeks, he has told me how busy he was, he also has been sick twice with the flu. So far, he has the daughters, is busy all the time and has bad germs.

This last Saturday he told me he is going to be busy for about 6 months so he took down his profile, he also smokes but he is trying to quit and the final thing is he has been dating someone and they have "chemistry" but still he would like to meet me. Do I want to meet him now? No,not really but he is down for a "maybe" for Friday night. I don't like maybes, i think I will fix that and make it a definite no.

One more thing to mention and one of the reasons why I am leery about older men, he used his age in a complaint form. As he was complaining, he said something like "Well I AM 56 years old". Was that suppose to be a warning? Sure sounded like one to me.

So he has multiple daughters, smokes, gets sick constantly, feels old, is dating someone he has chemistry with, was married twice and will be busy for 6 months, I'm glad for the other females online who don't have to waste their time like I did. And another one bites the dust.

Now the ad before the song you posted was interesting, the song itself..not so much..sorry.  Shouldn't the song be some theme like lying, or waiting , ya know, singing about the online thing, maybe some country song including some alcohol referral?  Someone needs to write a country song about how I traced your email and found out something I didn't like. I don't believe I have heard of a single song like that.

This profile content comes from a 49 year old divorced male who has young children and a cat and is non-religious.  It wouldn't be for me since he is apears to be an atheist, his kids come first (they should come first but it does make him way busier) and I'm allergic to cats. There are 2 points why I posted part of his profile. The first point is to show what the majority of profiles I come across are like for me (on another site), the older men have young children and I am past that stage in my life, been there, done that and I don't want to do it again.  At the same time, if none of the above mattered to me, I still wouldn't have a chance because of what he is searching for.

The second point is huge. I have to say I'm in California and southern Californian men are searching for perfection. What they don't realize is there is no such thing but some do come in prettier packaging than others. There is a good chance though that the packaging may get tired and move on, leaving him more broke and even older. Of course he won't let those added years on his age bother him, he will still look for someone in a certain age range, the age gap widens but so what, according to him.

Read his "About Me" section and what he wants. Lol, all I can say is good luck with that.  Then he states "opposites attract", does he mean he is not great, dumb, not attractive, not funny, nowhere near fantastic and as far from perfect as it gets?  That is how it seems to me and I am probably not too far from the truth.

In his "First Date" section, his idea of a dark alley only sounds exciting in a what could happen, anxious if not terrifying way. Sure,..I want to walk down a dark alley with a male (possibly an overpowering lunatic) stranger on our first date, that sounds wonderful.

After reading a profile or two, it's enough to say "Sangria please!", better yet, I should have some while I'm browsing.

About Me
Im looking for a great, smart, attractive, funny, positive, happy, fun, over all
fantastic, near perfect in every way girl. If the saying "opposites attract" then
we should be great together.

First Date;
Drinks is a safe bet as it can be short or extended depending on how the
evening goes. A dark alley is a close 2nd as it adds excitement.
