Aurora Borealis in Finland.

This one happened a few months ago, looks like the hemline of a fluffy wedding dress.

The most beautiful sunrise I've ever seen was on the island of Maui way up at the top of a dormant volcano named Haleakala. Photos don't do it justice, it is spectacular!  Not only do you get to experience one of the most spectacular sunrises but wait a littlle while and if you're lucky you'll get to see inside of part of the volcano.  It looks like the surface of the moon and I was told that astronauts had practiced there.  I hope to see the sunrise there again, it was one of the best experiences of my life :)

Many visitors and locals wake up early to drive up to the Haleakala Visitor Center (9,740 feet), the best spot to watch the sunrise. On a clear morning, seeing the sunrise from the summit of Haleakala is an unforgettable experience. Even those who’ve witnessed the event many times say they’ve never seen the same sunrise twice. Perhaps just as spectacular are Haleakala's sunsets and the bright, starry skies revealed at night.

Yep!  Have to agree....The Best EVER!!!  :))

Thanks Maria, Livnlove and Diana :)

Diana, the Milky Way photo must have been breathtaking to see in person. The Body Art reminded me of the Shadow Performers but that would take a video to appreciate what they do, very unique photo though, thanks for posting!

First thing that popped in my head; the beginning of "Miami Vice"

Guess I've never seen Miami Vice, but the horse on the left is my ex-son and daughter-in-law's horse.  Going to the races is actually kinda boring to me....unless we have a horse in.  It's a lot of just waiting around until race time....but then when the horse walks on the track...the adrenalin and shortness of breath makes me afraid I might have a heart attack!!  lolo

I wish I had as good of a camera as my friends do. Another friend took this close-up of the moon on 11-9-2013.  She bought her camera for it's zoom capabilities...no doubt!!

If women aren't visual, then why do they post such interesting photos?  And why do so many women get into photography?

It's because we see the beauty in everything and want to capture it :)
