HEY WOMEN
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF WOMEN THAT WEAR A LOT OF MAKE UP???? IS IT BETTER TOO MUCH " MAKEUP" OR JUST A LITTLE BIT?????? DO YOU PREFER MASCARA , LIPSTICK OR PERFUME ??
Perfect, Sarah. Makeup should be something we gals enjoy using; not something we feel we need to use. And how right you are about how too much just looks "clumpy." I was in our local Rite-Aid pharmacy last night to buy a few things and when I got to the checkout I was faced with a girl who couldn't have been more than 16 who was wearing such a heavy foundation I thought her face was going to crack if she dared to smile. She didn't smile, by the way. And she barely talked at all. But you could just tell she thought she LOOKED perfect in spite of not being able to move a facial muscle lest the seams in her makeup started to show. Awfully sad, really. Underneath all that pancake, laid on with a trowel no doubt, she might just have a delightful personality. But all she was willing to show to the world was a face full of "perfect" makeup, as though that was going to get her love and popularity above and beyond what any personality she had would have.
Quoting MissMonteCarlo:
Well the whole point in makeup is to enhance beauty no to cement it on. Too much make up just looks clumpy and caked on so that’s never a good look. Less is more.
In terms of preference I use them all, pretty much daily. If it was a case of only being able to choose one thing, would have to be lip gloss.
Sarah :-)

Mascara, lipstick or perfume?? You're killing me here.. Those are my TOP 3!
I guess if I can't wear BOTH mascara AND lip gloss.. (light pink)
Then my "BEAUTIFUL" perfume by Estee Lauder will have to do! I don't leave home without it!
As far as make-up amount.. I don't find every woman to be the same.. Every woman should wear what "enhances" their natural beauty.. But I myself change that up. (My "natural" beauty I find needs "more enhancement" quite often!) Yesterday I laid in sun.. So last night I wore .. get this..
ONLY Macara and Lip Gloss! Oh and eye liner!! (My face looks best when there is a little sun color on it.. )
I dated a guy in July of 2008 who HATED make-up.. He bet me I could not go to work with none on... I said.. give me my mascara, eye liner and lip gloss and you got a deal! I WON! And he cooked for me! Had to take a pic on my Nextel at work for him as proof!! :)
HI ITALIAN... AND WELCOME TO THE BLOGS! :)

Makeup is not my everyday routine; not my top priority. If I have to wear makeup, light accents is all I want - some lipgloss (preferably red) plus some mascara to accentuate my lips and eye colour.
Having said all the above, I am more fond of fragrances (love Chanel's "Allure") and little dresses. :)

Guess that's a matter of personal taste, what perception a woman has of herself and whether she's comfortable within herself. Like Sarah said, its there to enhance your features and not as a camouflage. I don't have a problem with men who want to use makeup, why should it be a woman's perogative? I know women who wouldn't been seen dead leaving the house without make up and others - like me (lol) - who are slightly physically handicapped when it comes to putting make up on. I think I have mastered the lipstick and mascara but don't ask for more elaborate paintings, ain't gonna happen unless I have professional help... I just have no talent when it comes to makeup but that's fine - I guess I have other talents :) As to perfume, that depends where, when and how much... Its a very personal taste and less is definitely more when it comes to perfume and your personal preference may not be someone elses. You don't want to smell people before you see them... If you're asking the question because you want to buy a lady some perfume, take note - check what she likes first or you may run the risk that she'll chuck it or give it away P :)
