I was wondering if men like women to pursue them on-line or off-line. If it's on-line do they like winks, emails, or phone calls. If it's off-line do they like it when women approach them first and give them their phone number. Dom

Why not ?! girls go for it all the way...I mean we men in general seldom complain of being harassed sexually...Go for it but with a soft touch...If a man likes it, it will show! My last girlfriend is a real Don Juan...She pursued me just to dump me and add me to her lovers list...LOL!

I don't think there's anything wrong with women asking men out, but at the same time, it's not something I myself feel comfortable doing. I'm always worried I'll make a fool out of myself by asking out some guy who everybody but me knew already had a girlfriend or was gay.

I can't speek from a man's point of view, but I have the greatest fun winking or emailing a gentleman first. As for asking a man out. It's great fun and the more it's practiced the easier it becomes. Met some of my best friends that way. It doesn't always work out for the best but you'll never know if you don't try grabbing the bull by the horns. Might just be the ride of a lifetime. Leigh

Why else would a guy put up a profile. Shoot, no matter how sophisticated ones search capabilities, one can easily miss a gem of a lady that would be a perfect match. At lease a wink or an email from one of the opposite sex indicates a modicum of interest which might otherwise go un-noticed. Yes, please do make the first contact ladies. Bruce

I appreciate any kind of "pursuit" on or off line by a woman. Regardless of attraction, I do take it to heart and feel thankful someone found me attractive or appealing. It's not often, mind you, but it is refreshing to not always be the one pursuing. I'm in hotel management and we have a large variety of women who visit here. I think in the past year I've been here I've had 2 encounters where I was obviously pursued. Online . . . well, I have had quite a few winks and emails. In the end, people should just express interest regardless of gender. Why on earth would anyone refuse to wink or send an email and sit and wait to be contacted? I, and I doubt any other person, would think of him/her as non-traditional or assume anything awful about him/her. These types of sites are a great way to innocently express an interest and more should take advantage . . . otherwise they would be wasting their money to be here. This type of "meeting" place far exceeds what you get in the real world. Bars are a joke for finding anything meaningful, grocery stores are nearly impossible to find anyone that's not just there to get their list and beat it, and if you aren't a church going person, then there's really not much else left to have a chance to get to know someone as easily as you can here (initial, of course). For the most part, you see them, you read about them a bit, and you can let them know you're interested . . . there should be pursuit if there is an attraction . . . makes sense to me.
