We need a savvy, Female in office, and, it look's like another Dem. The cards are on the table, with Hillary. How transparent can a Presidential Woman Candidate be, due to the vendetta, Vetting her. Actually, Roc; the internet has brought issues forward, and has allowed for a more informed public, with new ways of solving problems. It has also influenced opinion's in high Gov't office. As far as ending conflict,  Zazille; That remains a paradigm in the minds that create the conflict. Some fail to see the forest, while viewing the tree's. Look at all of the info., on conflicting views on the Net. All sides know each side's opine; still conflict. There are positive outcomes due to this aggressive info. age. You might have a point.  How difficult would it be to get all Muslim women who are virgins to post selfies.  Do you think ISIS idiots access the Internet eveyday.

No one can lie, of the devistation of 2008, coupled with 2,under supplied, dominant army's; for the will,of, some other President. 2013-2014 was ruled, the pullout timeline, by the top 5 Candidate's, in the 2007-2008 New Year's Gala Ball. The no care,Romney, tape, sunk him in 2012. Palin could'nt even pail water fast enough, with one SNL female. She recovered...'Cause' She's still PALIN' the 'residual's'... http://youtu.be/vwBZObfp24c...Whatever!

"Hillary Clinton is ending her campaign, but really in the bigger sense it's sad because, think about it, there goes right down the drain the Clinton dream of a being a two-impeachment family." --David Letterman

New Rule: Republicans trying to turn the Benghazi attacks into a scandal that taints Hillary Clinton’s chances at a 2016 presidential run must realize that scandals don’t weaken Hillary Clinton, they only make her stronger. Travelgate, the Rose Law Firm, Whitewater, Vince Foster, Monica Lewinsky…Hillary Clinton eats scandals for breakfast. If the Republicans keep this up she’ll not only be President, she’ll appoint Bill to the Supreme Court." –Bill Maher

Most People Don't Like This Obamacare Thing

obamacare poll

The rising opposition to the Affordable Care Act and the corresponding sinking approval come despite Obamacare's rebound from the disastrous, chaotic launch ofHealthCare.gov and the first enrollment period that began last fall.

By April, more than 8 million people had used the law's health insurance exchanges to sign up for private coverage, with 86 percent of enrollees receiving financial assistance. Millions more enrolled into Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program, which offers insurance to children in families with incomes too high for Medicaid.

The law also appears to be significantly reducing the ranks of the uninsured. According to the Department of Health and Human Services, the number of uninsured people in the nation has dropped by 10 million people because of Obamacare enrollment.

But Obamacare has always had weak support among the American public. Previous Kaiser Family Foundation surveys show only three months since Congress passed the law in March 2010 when more people approved than disapproved.

Not true Roc.  Sorry!  He has not checked out, but the Republicans have proven to be small, nasty and petty.  The reason he’s being sued is because he’s trying to get something done….even if they won’t.  It’s Congress’ job to legislate….and they won’t!  The Republicans hatched a planned on inauguration day to ruin this President….to make the history books little children study in the future, to say:  Barack Obama wasn’t really a legitimate president and he didn’t accomplish anything!  It’s disgusting what they have done.....at the expense of the country!

Somewhere buried deep in this blog, I compared the accomplishments of a Democrat majority vs now with the Republican House.  And just because Fox News says the IRS and Benghazi are “scandals” does not make it true.  I would think you understood that.  Both are totally bogus/phony/false witch hunts that have wasted lots of taxpayer money and countless hours!

Unfortunately the majority of Americans don't have access to the same rose colored glasses that you view the political scenery with.

The respondents to the same Quinnipiac University survey that chose Obama as the worst President since WWII also chose George Bush as second worse by about 5%.  Bill Clinton was chosen as the second best President since WWII trailing Ronald Reagan by 7%.  By a margin of 54% to 44% they also claimed that the Obama administration is not competent to run the government.

I think that Hillary or Romney or even McCain would have provided better stewardship through these  very trying times.  The New Yorker's editor, David Remick who's a Liberal and very sympathetic to the President said "the world seems to disappoint him".

Obama claims a kinship with Lincoln but he seems to have overlooked Lincoln's modesty.  Obama took a page out of Lincoln's playbook and said he'd negotiate with everyone, but he didn't.. it was his way or the highway.  Lincoln worked tirelessly, every day, against much greater opposition and he negotiated with those radical abolitionists who opposed him.... but he also showed great respect, he was witty and had a sense of humor but he wasn't frivolous or shallow and he never said "So sue me".... and he never gave up trying.

With two years to go I think Obama has given up and that's not necessarily a bad thing.  I'm certain  that he believes that history will view him as the champion of governmental and cultural progressivism.  Time will tell but neither of us will be around to say "I told you so".

......but we will survive his Presidency and with some luck and a President who understand that it's the private sector that drives the economy, we might have a chance to get back on track and once again regain our leadership position around the world.... but we have a lot to undo.

As proud Americans we deserve that!

Quoting Diana3316:

So Republicans control the House and the committee that authorizes whether a bill to sue President Obama should go to the full House for a vote.  Of course the Republicans vote “YES” that’s what they should do….mind you in the last week before they go on an over one month long vacation!  Really???  That’s the most important thing on their agenda?  And what is the reason exactly?  Hmmm….Maybe something they were for ….ie. “Delayed implementation of the ACA”….before they were against!

Democrats tried to add some amendments to the Bill:

·         Every week the House will be required to report to the public how much taxpayer dollars were spent on the lawsuit.  Republican majority votes “NO”!

·         Taxpayer money is prohibited from being spent to hire law firms that employ Lobbyists to sue the President.  Republican majority votes “NO”!

·         Taxpayer money is prohibited from being spent to hire law firms to sue the President that have a financial stake in the implementation of the ACA.   Republican majority votes “NO”!

Ok…let me get this straight….they’re spending taxpayer money to sue the President because he took an executive action to delay the implementation of the ACA, and the taxpayers can’t know how much they are spending on the lawsuit, and they can use taxpayer money to hire lobbyists and law firms that have a financial interest in the implementation of the ACA.  Right!!  That sounds like Republicans are working for us!

It’s totally outrageous!  No wonder the rest of the world no longer wants to use the dollar as the world currency!  We have a clown show going on here!
