I don't think anyone could have quite summed things up as eloquently as Robert Frost did. He was able to capture emotion and fact in prose and expel it in such a way that causes the mind to pause just enough to get a glimpse at reality; but not harsh reality, encouraging reality. Some of us are different and to those that have seen that side of me, you?ll understand. Seek out my other blog about questions and you?ll see what I refer to. I think I?m going to leave this site soon. It has been a short stint for me and to those that winked or said hello, thank you. I may not have found love here or someone special to be with, but I suppose I found something else I needed more: Validation. I?m man enough to admit I needed it and I leave you with this poem by Frost that explains who I am better than I can: THE ROAD NOT TAKEN Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

cmg..I am glad that you decided to stay but one thing I wanted to mention is this. If you are going to put forth Ideas, opinions et al, then you will find that you may need to develop a thicker skin. As you have probably seen, there are a number of us who are routinely lambasted on a regular basis. There are times I laugh at it, and others i get even..lol..but at NO time, does it make me run away or shut up...maybe it should? NAH!!!!:)

"ive sat here and ive tried to read alot of what you wrote but as i kept reading i found that you have a extremely low self esteem , and it just put me in a shitty mood ,so with that in mind ..have you ever considered therapy ? as if you cannot afford it i may can do some pro -bono for you ,get in touch ,until then take care ." Wow, that was rude. Thanks for the input but it's not welcome. My esteem is just fine . . . but thanks for feigning care.

Friendships can be made across the miles and miles of the internet. Both male and female. Cherish them and honor them, and they will bring great comfort in the bad times and great joys in the good times! I guess the question changes now... LOL So by staying, which road are you taking??? And come on over and have fun in the forums too. A little secret for ya, they are female dominated, and except in extreme cases, that is normally a good thing for us, especially the guys. :o)

Hey Robtest . . . thanks for the kind words. I think I'm sticking around for a bit. Was surprised at the responses I've gotten and though I'm not sure what romantic possiblities there are, I've not had many friends my entire life and I am learning to value to affection I've received so far. I've paid for 1 month now so I can correspond with people who have taken the time to write to me. I'd be a lesser person if I didn't.

Like you, I have never really considered myself a "ladies man", but my travels have neither been boring nor lingered too long without finding a special woman to share it with, albeit "forever" has alluded me... Your quiet humility will be missed. Perhaps you will revisit from time to time, and leave us some more words to ponder. I hope, even though you did not find the woman that you sought, you did find what you needed here. May you always find what you seek, and seek what you find! So out of curiousity, by leaving, which path are you taking ???

To Sinergy: Despite the obvious incredible looks at your age (46? don't believe it, you 30 year old, you), I read your profile and I'm impressed with your accomplishments. Thanks for the compliments! You are one of a kind! PS: Not really leaving this site just yet. I've met some really nice people and would hate to lose that connection. Please do send me an email if you want to correspond (I need your email outside of here). I'm definitely not going to pay for this site just yet . . . am I indecisive or what?

I read this poem in elementary school and often refer to it when talking to my kids. Good luck in everything you decide to pursue in your life. You are an unique person, value, appreciate, benefit from, and enjoy everything that happens to you.
