The surveys don't bother me too much.  I generally just skim them.  Every now and then something catches my attention.  It beats the poems and the Holy rollers.  As you know, I like a good debate....but I don't really have much time for all that anymore.  But never fear!  I think another election is just around the corner.  *wink*

Bepositive, you just have to overlook what bothers you.  Kind of like those evil liberal women with the best intentions, at least in their own mind. :)  I just had to say it. :)  Who knows the reasons why someone does what they do? OCD?  or in my case Insanity.  Most of the surveys just tell us (smart folks) what we already know.  I like blogs that share their personal beliefs and experiences not just copy and paste.

The way a blogs should work is that the blog that is commented on last should move to the top.  This way blogs that do not interest the blog users will move to the bottom rather quickly.

I'm with Diane on the poems.  But some people may like poems.  I'm just probably to ruff around the edges to appreciate them.

Awww....com'on Dak.  Tell the truth!  You're actually crazy about them and just don't know how to say it.  Deep in a dark corner of your heart, you know those evil liberal women hold a mystery for you that sends a tingle up your leg everytime you see one of them walk by.   *wink*  ROFLMAO

Do I really need to give an answer to anyone on how I feel about surveys? lol

I resent them unless i am being paid to answer the questions except for yours, BePositive :)  I don't like it when an employee of some company asks me on the phone if i wouldn't mind answering a brief survey on their performance.  Yes, I do mind, haven't they already recorded our voices, a lot of them do that, some give you a choice.  For the record, I don't like being recorded or being asked.

By the way I also resent having to be the one who has to hit a digit on my phone to hear something in English when I am the citizen in an English speaking country! Has anyone heard the two Target commercials? One entirely in Spanish and on in Spanish and English? very irritating. Uggh.  And please, please don't tell me your name is Charlie or Anna when clearly, your name is something I most likely cannot pronounce if I saw it written on paper.

I hope you don't block me BePositive cuz i may have just posted something slightly off topic or possibly offensive to someone..somewhere.

To explain something I posted recently to a Newbie.  In my post, I stated something to the effect that I was surprised that someone was allowed to keep an entire website title on their/her post.  I could care less what the title was but my experience was different. When I posted MM's secondary website to explain something important as to why i joined here, it was removed every time I posted it. Hold on, trying to explain further. This goes back to what Hoping posted here regarding class. This site had the word "Classy" in it and it was the ONLY reason I joined because it was suppose to be CLASSY!!  It took me a little while to figure out what MM stood for, just saying.

To answer the question the OP posted. I can handle SOME surveys posted in here but seeing several of the same type of survey posted by the same person can get annoying after a while.  Just imagine if we female members were to post questions about the male anatomy, what matters, what if it doesn't work,etc.,etc. How would we be perceived?  Yet it's just fine for the males to do it?  No, it isn't fine, I can manage to ignore it happening a few times by some newbies but when they are posted continuously by one person, it can get irritating. I resent someone asking me what I bring to the table.  I resent someone wondering whether my ass or boobs  would be better appreciated. I definitely don't need to read that a certain fluid may taste different coming from a vegetarian.   There is an internet search bar, research and read it elsewhere and if you must participate then there are better sites for it.

I would think it's a good idea to imagine you are talking instead of typing.  Would the person you're talking to mind what you're saying?  Let's not get too politically correct though here. I hate the PC thing. We just celebrated our independence on July 4th.  Freedom of speech is a great thing!  I may even use mine and annoy someone at some point.  I'm not perfect but I am opinionated.  I will be silent when I'm dead. In person, when i start to get annoying is when i tend to order a Sangria and realize my two minutes of bitchin' are up.

One more thing; I'm a Christian, not a saint...huge difference.  I hate it when someone points at me and uses the Christian Card, "You're Christian, you are supposed to...." Being Christian means I have a certain belief in Christ and that is all you need to know.  Do not attempt to scold me cuz according to you, I have not in some way acted like a Christian.   Also, I don't need anyone reprimanding me that I'm not acting like a lady.  What century are we in?

Now who wants to meet in Vegas?!

Have a fantastic weekend, People!!

PS Great post BePositive, thanks!  Hoping, you expressed my thoughts pretty well, thanks to you and some others (you know who you are) for the support :)

Hey Dakota,

OR, perhaps all the surveys should have been post under one or a couple of blogs rather than a independent blog for each survey.  After all most are related in some way.

Surveys?  What surveys?

ROFLMAO

TRUE! TRUE!! My "Fellow -Censored" PAT!!

!!!???!!!WHAT SURVEYS!!!???!!!

Can't say if it is more "Sad" or "Hysterical" when one writes a blog on "RUDENESS" when THEY are the one in fact being RUDE to SEVERAL "Ladies" by blocking them and then writing a ridiculous blog on "Rudeness"....

rude

  /ro͞od/

Adjective

    1. Offensively impolite or ill-mannered: "she had been rude to her boss".

    1. Referring to a taboo subject such as sex in a way considered improper and offensive: "he made a rude gesture".

I'd venture to say being rude constitutes:

1) Refusing to address a ladies question when she is sincerely asking a question. (In this case, several ladies asked basically the same thing and were RUDE-ly ignored!)

SIDEBAR: Ironically, I had asked the SAME question many months ago PRIVATELY, and the individual ran off with tail between legs for several months! MORE Irony? I "Invited" the RUDE individual to the blog section long ago, as I never expected many regulars would be treated so RUDE-ly! MY APOLOGIES EVERYONE!! I was trying to be... KIND... (But if that didn't come back and bite me, and several of you, in the arse! LOL) .................. SOWWY!!!

2) Blocking a woman, or in this case, SEVERAL WOMEN, from reading or responding to a said individuals blogs. (What childish, RUDE behavior! GROW UP! This isn't Jr. High. We ALL have opinions; well, MOST of us do, and don't "hide" behind other people's words!)

SIDEBAR: We CAN read EVERYTHING on the internet, so perhaps some of that "high class education" has served little purpose?

3) Contacting MM and making a complaint because someone got their witty bitty feewings hurt! (Oh BOO HOO!! Go cry your tears in a mason jar and give to your mama!)

SIDEBAR: Only "Babies" go whining to mama. AND people, if you want to file a complaint, or block someone, make it for a real reason like being stalked or threatened with bodily harm, etc.. I had to block a man when I first came here for getting on all my blogs and professing his "love" for me! He kept viewing my profile several times daily, too! He was clearly unstable and MM had to get involved. THAT'S a reason to contact "Mama!"

4) Contacting the above said lady and telling her she isn't acting like a lady. WHY? Because she actually has an opinion, stated her opinion, and asked the person a question embarrassing them? PUT ON YOUR BIG KID PANTS!

SIDEBAR: If a person cannot accept or handle everyone has differing views and will state them, possibly embarrassing you, then YOU DON'T BELONG ON A SOCIAL SITE WHERE EVERYONE DEBATES AND SHARES THEIR OPINIONS! Just sayn....

And to the "Lady" this happened to, I am very sorry. I have no idea why someone would treat you so RUDE-ly for something so trivial.

MORE RUDE-ness?

5) Primarily posting SEXIST content and constantly referring to women's breast, one night stands, who is most likely to have sex when meeting, talking about bodily functions such as sperm and it's benefits, etc., etc., etc, is NOT appropriate content for a site seeking more refined, polished clientele.

SIDEBAR: ADVERTISING PERSPECTIVE? Speaking of such matters is NOT informing "Christian women" of anything we need or want to know about! IF one does NOT choose a "Christian" belief, no problem; but, when it is stated in an individual's profile at least 3 times "Christian" is important to a person, it might be more "prudent" to refrain from "talking SEX trash." Jesus didn't walk around "teaching" of "sex matters!" LOL...

6) It might be considered "disrespectful" or RUDE, from MM's standpoint to continually discuss OTHER DATE SITES on blogs, as all it does is attract MORE attention to other sites, rather than focusing on THIS particular site. Additionally, the site constantly referred to is a TRASH SITE! I joined DUE to the name being thrown around so much and TALK ABOUT FILTH! What classy lady is going to answer questions regarding masturbation and three-somes, etc. for unknown men to view!!!??? THIS FILTH is what the cat is dragging over to MM?

Just nasty! Or shall I say, RUDE???

People, some of you puppies need to get back up on the porch. You can't handle running w/ the "Big Dawgs!"

And BTW:

Final SIDEBAR: There are those of us who just say it like it is, regardless of internet, in person, etc.. Many of us do not become intimidated,,,,,,,, EVER...

I once told a cop in open court, "You're a LIAR, and you know it!"

Needless to say, the Judge was NOT amused... I got in A LOT of trouble!

However, 2 years later? That LYING cop? TERMINATED from duty...

WHY?

Because he was a LIAR, and finally,,,,,,, I wasn't the only one who knew it! ;)

So it would be INCORRECT to think all of us just hide behind the keyboard because we are protected.

I will say it how it is---- and if you don't like it... I'm not losing sleep over your hurt feelings!

Roger dat? ;)

Boring/Helpful?

Positive/Negative?

Do you read them/Ignore them?

I have my own opinions but would love to hear yours.
