I have had my same phone (Blackberry) for the past 3 years.  I would like to upgrade so I can improve my bathroom photos for my profile (I already cleaned the mirror) ha ha.   The variety of phones is overwhelming!!!!   Any suggestions on a good phone (pros and cons).   I am leaning towards a Blackberry Q10.

If you need security, stick with BlackBerry.  If you are worried about scratches on the screen, buy a screen protector (plastic film).  It's also good to buy a protective case.  I like the Galaxy and the iPhone is cool also.  I'd probably get a Galaxy (some have charging port problems).  I don't even own a cell phone...but one of my employees has gone through every brand...so that's where I get my info.

Hi Dakota,

I did not have a cell phone for a long time.  Car broke one night.  Since I keep good tires and good maintenance it should not have but it did.  Long way from home.  Late night, got to be a long night.  Bad place to be stranded.  So, first thing fixed was I got a cell phone.  Little Samsung as I have already mentioned.

Have I needed one since, not really.  Did I need one before, not until I did.

All I need is just a cell phone that works.  I had a little Samsung with way more than I need.   Lost it.  Now have an LG.  About the same.  If I can reliably call someone, that's it, thats all I need.

I like the Samsung Galaxy 4, but I would recommend the iPhone only because it may be a little easier for you to understand since you have been using a Crackberry for so many years (lol). I think the Galaxy is a much better phone for people who really want a big screen and that the features are better than the iphones. The iphone is a great transitional phone for you, because the screen size and features shouldn't be too overwelming. You will need to buy a really good phone case and scratch protector for the screen. It's is easier to crack the screen and scratch the phone than the Blackberry. Sprint sell cases and protectors. You might want to go on Amazon before you buy your phone. Amazon has a large variety of cases and the screen protectors are practically free since you can get them for under $5 if they don't come with your case.

Go for iPhone 5! Once you go on iPhone, you won't ever want another phone. Sadly, I am terrible at technical sales so can't really explain all the fabulous features too well, but it's everything you've ever wanted in a phone and much more covered.....

I have been with Sprint for a long time AND an avid Blackberry user (10 years).  I know many people use their phone for everything (text, internet, etc)  I rarely go online because I have a laptop but who knows what I will do in another year.  I have a few friends that have Iphone but have had to replace screens because they got scuff marks.

It looks like the Q10 has a keyboard AND touch screen, just don't know how big the screen is.  Still researching.....:)
