“There is no need to search; achievement leads to nowhere. It makes no difference at all, so just be happy now! Love is the only reality of the world, because it is all One, you see. And the only laws are paradox, humor and change. There is no problem, never was, and never will be. Release your struggle, let go of your mind, throw away your concerns, and relax into the world. No need to resist life, just do your best. Open your eyes and see that you are far more than you imagine. You are the world, you are the universe; you are yourself and everyone else, too! It's all the marvelous Play of God. Wake up, regain your humor. Don't worry, just be happy. You are already free!”

What do you think ?

Quoting oneofthem:

You seem to be such an educated woman. Why to get into negative? actualy what you mean by this?

Is so beautiful to be above all... And nothing isn`t new in the book of Dan Millman. All ideas are older than my grand, grand, grandfathers maybe the movie could be greater but is good how it is

Greetings from Transylvania and a Happy New Year to all

Quote from the original post-

"You are the world, you are the universe; you are yourself and everyone else, too"

Really? I am the UNIVERSE? I am EVERYONE ELSE? No, I am neither the universe nor everyone else. I said  the post was too New Age. Since I am a Christian, I do not believe in false doctrine, with my religion, we should follow our doctrine.

You asked "why get negative?" I could turn that and say that various books, New Ageism is negative in a lot of ways because it is false doctrine. Why should I follow some guy who likes to sweat in a teepee or some housewive who wrote her own book- A Course in Miracles. Why should I think that some author that Oprah likes (E.Tolle) is speaking the truth?

Discernment can mean being negative. Why be a follower of New Agers? I'm not and I never will be. Jesus Christ is who I will follow.

"Achievement leads to nowhere."  Really now, give mea break! I could go on but I have other things to get done..achievement will lead to having accomplished a few things that are necessary, HA!

I think what you posted is too New Age for my taste. You did ask me. I could go on but it will get negative so I will leave it alone, at least for now.

ArtfulDuke,

You might like a book called, The Book of Love: A Word Made Flesh by Diadra Price. It is available through Amazon. It's kind of a reading meditation book. It's based in non-duality and a very unusual and mystical book. If you like Gibran, Gangaji, Rumi or A Course in Miracles, you'll probably resonate with this book....... BeWell .... ;-D

BeWell and wishing you only the best ! ..................;-D

Hello ARTFULLDUKE... and WELCOME to the blogs! I read a couple of comments you posted previously, but this one caught my attention in particular.

I do not feel your words are meant to be taken "literally"... (As in... Achievement obviously DOES make a difference, and obviously we have REAL ISSUES in the world when blood baths occur in elementary schools, so yes there ARE problems.)

But more what I read here is that...

If we harbor the improper elements, allowing negativity to flow in our minds, we suffer dramatically by not releasing our inner struggle.

(Yes, I read all that in your words! LOL)

I enjoyed the part particularly where you stated "you are far more than you imagine". I believe this to be true for everyone. However, due to some individuals dying thirst to clinch steadfast to their own ideals, it hinders their growth and development therefore negating acceptance of others. I've had friends and relatives like this. There are certain people in the world who appear as if they constantly feel the need to feud. Their desire for attention I find draining. People should "lighten up" and "be happy"... This is impossible if one is constantly bickering with others. Life is too valuable for such nonsense. I had a father in law who at one point all 7 children weren't speaking to him. Was it the 7 children? Or the FATHER that was acting improper?

Regain your humour....

I like that! ;)

WELCOME to BLOGLand~~

I find your post to be fitting for the dissention that seems to be clouding the air lately.

I think all is relative, that good is reality and evil is there as a reminder of goods goodness, and that respect is the glue between people, beliefs and cultures.
