So guys and gals , how many times have you looked at a profile and picture of a person but wanted to ,but dident contact that person ., Is it your afraid of rejection ?? Or maybe something else? We'll maybe that's why you are still single., yea I know I have to say that I'm guilty of the same thing. I think for me .. Being a woman I was always brought up that the man makes the first move , and yes being afraid of being rejected sits in the back of my mind . So lets all think hey we are all here to find friends , lovers , soul mates why don't we just say hi ...and if you like that person keep in touch.  Have a happy week .. Andrea

I don’t fear rejection, it’s just that I trust that women know what they like. The fairer sex is much more cerebral then we are. Personally, I’m never going to write something like “you’re hot” or “hey” to say hello to someone. It just seems like an exercise in futility to write a thoughtful note to someone who might take one look at your mug-shot and think “not my type.” I think winking at a girl just says you’re too lazy, or incapable of writing proper letter… or just not very interested. If it were up to me they would take the winker away from men completely. Girls shouldn’t be afraid to wink at guys they like. Women seem to think that by just viewing us, we should magically spring into action and fire off a witty and fabulous introduction. You misunderstand the depths of male cluelessness. Guys are cavemen. We’re not complicated like you. “Me Grog… come naked… bring food.” That’s our mentality. We can barely chew gum and walk, and that’s why we need a hint that you might actually like us. If a fair maiden views my profile, and doesn’t wink in my general direction, or at least “like” something… why Rocko just figure you no likey. Besides, if a Dude has even a faint pulse, he can’t possibly write to everyone that takes a look. So I just figure I’ll save myself time and heartache and just write to people that already find me appealing in some way. Am I out of my mind here?

Here is one way to look at rejection which I always try to remember, "Rejection is God's protection."

Several years ago I wrote a piece for the Dating Advice here on mm called "Handle Rejection by Cookie Theory" (not the title I gave it but the title MM gave it).

I think that article will give you what you need.

I can understand, It's Like when you are real and Serious with a Guy

They ask you Questions and you began to answer them  not knowing

that you want here from them again, and you wonder why..but you

are trying to be open and honest and I see that some People are

not Ready...there should be a site just for Serious Minded Committed People.

who will reply back to you message and communicate with you often..

because you get ooh so tired of all the Game Players?...

We'll you can reject all you want., it's not a big deal if you disagree or just trying to be a smart ass., that advice was not just for you. So if your looking for someone to argue with ., hop off .

Who's afraid of English?  There is a difference between "who's" and "whose".

Did you block me from posting on your blog because I rejected your premise?

Don't take it personally.  If you do block someone in the future you might want to delete all of their comments to prevent them from editing after you've blocked them.

Have a great day!

Rejection is my name and a part of my life as long as I am in the Dating Site .. Before I came to MM I was on

another Dating Site ( no need to mention it ) .. Guys clammed up or freeze off as well as leaving my Page

without saying Goodbye .. why .. when i told them the truth Im living here in Europe they stopped communicating

with me .. I understand them ..its the distance but if a Guy really wants me it just doesnt end up there .. They

only have to ask me but i never run after anybody .. my Pride ..

I'm much better at being rejected.  I don't like to hurt people's feelings.

Lol ., think positive my friend , it's not about being a reject it's about not standing back in the shadows ,being afraid of someone rejecting you.

I'm afraid you misjudged me so I hope you're not upset that I reject your advice.
