"As a literary device, an allegory in its most general sense is an extended metaphor. One of the best known examples is Plato's "Allegory of the Cave." In this allegory, there are a group of people who have lived chained to the wall of a cave all of their lives, facing a blank wall. The people watch shadows projected on the wall by things passing in front of a fire behind them and begin to ascribe forms to these shadows. According to the allegory, the shadows are as close as the prisoners get to viewing reality."

Quoting

Dakota35

"Well that is great news.  I was worried when I asked that I might not get the answer that I wanted to hear.  I remember seeing her without hair and then also a photo with hair.  She's definitely more attractive with hair...and she seems to have a nice personality. Doesn't she have a child?  I know you have a daughter, if I remember correctly.  I could be getting things mixed up. Anyway, your answer made my day a lot happier. Something positive to carry through the day."

She has two children, a boy and a girl. Her name is Justice, and dangit do I feel bad because I can't remember her son's. They both want to be tough like their mom, and YOU.......

Never lose that smile and hold that happy heart because I want that for you. Only good things.

Warm regards,

Amber

Quoting AMBERWILD:

"Amber, how is your friend that had cancer?  I just was thinking about her"

TARA!!! :) Yay, now that makes me smile. Thank you for remembering Dakota35!! She is doing wonderful. She completed her last round of chemo and was fired from her job three days after. That was a sad, sad, day because it was so unfair. She was targeted by her illness, and left without resources to defend herself...

Nearly a year later she is training to get back into MMA fighting. "Be The Change," her mantra. I rarely have the pleasure of seeing her now that she is well. It's a weird admission to say, "I miss chemo."

I miss having time to sit with my friend who now has HAIR!!!! It's to her shoulder's now and thick :) The scars all over her body are starting to fade, most barely noticeable. Her cancer was diagnosed after she broke out in lesions. I thought she had poison ivy, but it was cancer. That cancer is now in remission, she's over-worked at her new job as a care-taker for the elderly, but she is here, alive, and mine to love in friendship.

She will smile to know you thought of her, and I will let her know.

Best-
Amber

Quoting AMBERWILD:

"Not much to say, Amber you're going to have to wake up on your own or learn the hard way.  A fool is someone that thinks they know more than everyone else and can't take constructive criticism. Debating a issue is about a exchange of ideas and ideals....Most of the time, not for the participants but for the listeners.  And just perhaps everyone learns something along the way.  I wish you the best, I really do."

TO WHAT DEBATE?

Was there any from me? Did I ask.. Did I? I don't think I did. In fact, I am beyond doubt by how much I trust the engagement so far. I didn’t ask for any feedback. Nope. Just checked my own asking. Still No. It’s been your free right all along, and there will be no debate from me. I am positive that you are critical.

I believe in your soul, the good, the kind, of wanting to reach out to construct me in a different fashion than what you would have me be. I am a lover of Google, as my dad seethes, "You think you know girl. I'll tell you something. You don't know anything. You better wise up." I know not to watch Fox news...

Google that sh*t. Coming to a shirt near you. I won't be wearing a bra, AND you can throw water on me. I'm the good witch baby. I'm not going to melt.

I’m a b*tch you want to slap the taste out of when I choose to be smart. Most times I choose funny instead, and when I can’t be I am quiet, listening to know because I don't until.... Life gives me pieces to my own puzzle.

I am grateful to have every available resource to know, but I know enough already. I know that debates here are wasted life. So are debates elsewhere. I prefer to rant, and I love a good roast: blunt.

I know that I write to revel. I know I write to remain unknown, while I'm known. I know that I’d rather be strapped to "Do Me Dorion", but that boy…. Damn…. I want to climb him.

Your best is recieved.

A Wink & A Smile,

Amber

When you post a blog for the public to see...it is just a known that there will be agreement and disagreement.  And what you write, publicly, attracts and is up for debate...whether you choose to be a part of it or not.  Thus far your blogs have garnered little attention. Because I'm giving you a little hard time, it makes your blog more interesting.  Amber you are not a enigma or mysterious (at least not to me), if that is what you want us to believe.  I remember enough about you, because I found you attractive, I wanted to know about you.  So I searched...and I found enough.  Now I know enough.  I've been given a gift and it rarely reads wrong.  I think of all the nice things about you, until you type your blogs...then you remind me of how you are inside.  I'm sure it's to someone's liking...and ultimately what I say doesn't matter and is worthless, unless you choose to use it.  It is what it is...no more from me, my thoughts are sealed.
