My daughter took my Mother to a service which was very nice. Many Yellow candles, songs, very somber.
My Mom who I have mentioned before is suffering from early stages of Memory Loss,is a survivor of the Holocaust. She did get up and hold a candle which brought a tear to my daughter's eye & mine.
We had 6 soldiers from Israel in the Temple, plus 6 squad cars around the Temple. I was happy to see the soldiers
from Israel.
A beautiful service

A Silent Moment to Steve jobs

My silent moment was the day he died...
He was a Hippie, Humanitarian , a creator, all in all a good man!
So when I go to my Ibook created by him I take one Silent moment to Thank this man...The Technology he created , the risks he took, Fantastic...and only took $1 dollar from all he made. He gave the rest to charities and his family...
Hats off to Steve Jobs, may he rest in Peace...

Hello to all,
I really want to Thank each and every one of you who sent me a comment.
Your words were so real and kind.
My Mum is in the early stages of Alzheimers, yet she is rapidly not remembering my families names.
Yet we sing, and do "Visuals"(thank you) . As time passes on I remember her smiles, laughter,
and stories from WW2 about my Father & Mum and how they met.
Thank you to all of you for your lovely comments...

One Special Person in my Life

Hello,
I know i have one special person in my life and that is my Mother who is from Danmark...
I have written about her before, but know she does have Alzheimers...
How does one cope, what does one do? I have talked to her doctors. My family also found out that she has a blockage in her neck too...
You know one can have the World in your hands, yet when Mum is sick, it is hard.
Sometimes she feels happy and then down...
She is a Special lady

Seventeen Inches of snow and more on its way

Hello,
Snow, Snow, Everywhere here. I flew back from Atlanta in the late evening on Friday, to find out that MN was going to have 17 inches of snow. I know other parts of US are having cold spells.
Now we are going to get at 7 more inches of snow if the Weather man is right...plus a -25 degrees below.
Even the Metrodome collapsed(this iwhere they football).
I must say it is very cold and very very snowy here!
