Do not look for a soul mate, you may lose your path... Posted on Aug 16, 2013 at 05:17 PM

There is a phrase very common in the profiles... "Looking for my soul mate". Do you really know what a soul mate is? I do not think so, if you did, I bet you would not looking for it, according to ― Elizabeth Gilbert, this is a soul mate...

“People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.

A true soul mate is probably the most important person you'll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave.

A soul mates purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life, then introduce you to your spiritual master...”

I found my soul mate a couple of yeara ago and I can tell you it was a great experience in terms that eventhough we were miles away, we could breath the same air, if I got sick, he got sick too, we never touch each other but we were able to feel each other as close as if he was actually lying next to me,he will immediately know if something was wrong as well as I would too, we learned a lot from each other, never had the chance to meet face to face, there was always something that stopped us from doing it, we communicated only through chats, email, phone and still none of us had never felt such powerful attraction... He used to call me his soul mate and I was sure he was, when I read this quote from ― Elizabeth Gilbert, I knew he was and I understood why he had to fly away...

To find a soul mate is a great experience and if you ask me, I think I will go though it again, but to let it go away it is also one of the must hurtful experiences I have ever gone through... They will never stay, once you have learned your lesson, they will leave so either be stubborn and do not learn so they will not go, or you better look for a perfect match...

Safe harbor yet? Posted on Aug 15, 2013 at 08:03 AM

After looking at some of the profiles, I could not stop thinking that many of them may be fake, I can not understand how come so many successful men and women are single out there, reading them has been exciting and I wonder, who has arrived to a safe harbor in their journey? Let`s review the definitions:

1. A legal provision to reduce or eliminate liability as long as good faith is demonstrated.

2. A form of shark repellent implemented by a target company acquiring a business that is so poorly regulated that the target itself is less attractive. In effect, this gives the target company a "safe harbor."

We start fron the principle that everyone is acting on good faith and that we are in a "win win" situation, applying the definitions to a relationship, has any of you got there yet? Or we are just a bunch of illusionists thinking that the love we are looking for can be here...

Welcome to the journey... Posted on Aug 14, 2013 at 09:33 AM

I joined in this site last night, I was bored and looking for some fun and I found this...

After playing around with the site, if you have been honest in your profiles of course, I am convinced that we are in the end looking for the same thing, love. Many of you have succeeded in their profesional goals so far but in the end, if we have no one to share them with, they are just a lost cause.

I am not a millionaire, many of you have invested your energies over the last decade to reach a millionaire status or to find a place in the profesional world, I have not, I am an independent working mother, I am a teacher and I have the inconditional love of my 11 year old son and my students, they have been my passion over the last decade and I thought that was enough, and it had been enough for a long time but not any more, I thought that what I was looking for was a fairy tale, a Hollywood story but after reading some of your comments I have come to the conclusion that I am not wrong, we all are in the same boat, we are in our biggest quest and I am sure we will find the treasure we are longing for...
