Blog title: How you made your millions?
Blog description:I'm always curious as to how someone has become wealthy. Each time I speak with a person of wealth, I always have to inquire about their business success. Perhaps this is being nosey but I find that most are more than willing to share. Some just got lucky while other worked extremely hard with many sacrifices. Some got their wealth from being crooked, which only interest me as a means to guard against this sort. So as a way of learning I post the above question.

Australia getting it right! (SEE EDIT) 321 Views 07/09/14
This is a copy and paste from a email I received.  I assume it is legit.  I wish American leaders had the same cojones, but they are all balless wonders. EDIT: Thanks to Roc, I found out this was not by the Julian Gillard, but instead by "Barry Loudermilk, a US Air Force veteran and columnist for a local newspaper in the American state of Georgia".  But it does not matter who wrote it, or said it, it's still good.

Australia says NO -- This will be the second Time Julian Gillard has done this!

She sure isn't backing down on her hard line stance and one has to appreciate her belief in the rights of her native countrymen.

A breath of fresh air to see someone lead with guts and determination.
Australian Prime Minister does it again!!

The whole world needs a leader like this!

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques:

'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT... Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture.
Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.'

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God.
This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs,
or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE.
We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country that accepted you.'

Blocked by a Member, Why??? 153 Views 09/27/13

Some of you have known me for sometime on this site.  Many of you know me well enough to know that I'm a outspoken guy with morals and integrity.  So here's a little story that just happened.

I see this girl on this site that I find interesting.  She has a small photo, but it looks as though I might could find her attractive.  I read her profile and like what she wrote.  It seems that we have similar beliefs.  So I make a comment on her profile.  She is obviously a paying member so she emails me and ask for a photo. Well, many of you know that I'm not one to post photos or even share.  I'm willing to meet anyone in person, even if just for a few moments so that they can decide what they think of my looks.  I just don't like taking photos and rarely take a photo.  So back to the story.

I never really told her that I wouldn't send her a photo...but I guess in so many words I did.  So the emails stop a few days ago and I tell her I realize that since I will not send a photo that she will no longer be communication with me.  I understand this completely.  I do not fault her one bit in her decision.

So a few day pass, I go to the chat on this site.  I leave the room and go into the kitchen.  When I return, I have a IM from this woman.  She is asking me why I will not send her a photo.  I reply asking if she is still there.  She is not, but within a few minutes she replies. Saying it doesn't matter.  I reply back saying Okay, but I was hoping to talk to her.  She replies back that I will not give her a straight answer.  I didn't even have time to give her a answer.  But I'm cool if she doesn't want to talk to me...that is her choice.  I'm not pushy in any way.

But what did anger me is that it popped up on my screen that she blocked me. I did nothing to warrant her blocking me.  It kind of makes me feel bad since I always treat women with respect.  I'm never pushy with anyone.  I try to be a nice guy.  It's one thing if I was emailing her and harassing her, but I wasn't. I really can't understand why some people do this.

I do believe she is a nice woman, I just can't understand why she would block me when I've done nothing to her.  I guess it doesn't matter, but it kind of hurts my feelings, as I did nothing wrong.

MM Nazi censorship patrol...at it again. 36 Views 09/29/13

No reason, writing much here.  They will just remove it.  All my friends on this site knows the score.  Sorry you didn't get to see my response to all your replies.  Everyone needs to report this site to different organizations that fight for freedom of speech.  MM is out of line.

Our Elected Thieves 84 Views 05/02/13

This was copied from a site, when I Googled for info. This happened on April 11, 2012.

"Yesterday President Obama signed a law that gutted the reporting requirements originally included in the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act. Before these changes were made the STOCK Act required congressional staffers to disclose their finances to the public to help ensure they were not engaging in corrupt practices.

But on second thought, President Obama and Congress decided that congressional staffers should be able to escape transparency.

President Obama quietly signed legislation Monday that rolled back a provision of the STOCK Act that required high-ranking federal employees to disclose their financial information online.

The White House announced Monday that the president had signed S. 716, which repealed a requirement of the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act requiring the disclosure, which had previously been delayed several times by Congress.

You never heard of this political project to reinstate corruption incentives? Don’t be surprised.

Both chambers of Congress quickly — and near silently — approved the repeal legislation at the end of last week by unanimous consent, just before heading home to their districts.

That’s right. Unanimous consent, no one wanted to put their name down as openly supporting corruption while supporting corruption. And now President Obama has signed the bill guaranteeing a more corrupt Washington."
